You said it best and you said it well! They are what they are, but still and all, I'd rather not be without a few of them! I really DO like them, that much.

And that sale is pretty damm good!

Do I need another one??

By the way, and I have no clue if anyone is interested or cares, but I took the little dead white one to recycle at Radio Shack. I wasn't sure if they'd take it, but yes, they sure did!

Those are lil itty bitty 400 mah eGos.

And yes, I've still got them.

<<<< See my avi Andria. And yes, I still have them. One is tucked away in the truck with a new atty for emergencies.

I've still got my eRoll too, tucked in a drawer -- when I had my relapse and had to do the transition thing again, it was just as useful as the first time, confusing my mind -- am I smoking? am I vaping? :D One of my issues with that relapse/comeback was that I lost my "taste" for vapor during the 4 days I didn't vape, so the eRoll was really useful, since it blunts the taste a lot. Once I got used to the taste again, back into the drawer it went, and bring on the Kayfuns. :D

Had a smoke quite a while ago, and since I had been vaping 24mg Nic Unflavored 100% VG it tasted something Horrible....

I KNOW I can never go back to cigarettes again.

Eric

At the time I relapsed, I had been so sick for 4 days, EVERYTHING tasted just godawful horrible, even stuff I LOVE, like tea or pepsi. I had been a vaper for about 4 months at that time, so it was a very recent acquisition, as tastes go, and I lost it badly, took me a while to find it again. The cigarettes didn't taste that bad to me at first, or at least, no worse than anything else; they kinda tasted like home. But by the time I'd been doing it for a month, while increasingly vaping as much as possible, I got the same experience of them I did the first time, the smoke actually *burned* my lips and tongue, and the smell was about to kill me, and I also couldn't stand the thought of all my lervely shiny vape gear going to waste. So I got back on the horse I jumped off of, and I'm comfy with it now. 15 months tomorrow. :thumb:

That was when I made the transition from bitter-sweet/savory Virginia tobacco to sweets and fruits and pastry flavors; I can tolerate a sweet tobacco flavor now, but only if surrounded with other sweet flavors -- sweet coffee, chocolate/vanilla, cherries, sweetener. I hated that kind of tobacco flavor at first, but now it's the only kind I'll vape... but I really prefer my strawberry & cream above ALL others, EVER.

The flavor has been the most significant aspect of vaping for me, ever since I started... but my tastes have certainly changed. :D

Funny how our tastes are isn't it?

I totally dig the slight sweetness of unflavored 100% VG with 24mg Nic.

Hits me just right in every aspect.

Eric

Yeah... try to imagine my 85% PG with no flavoring added.:eek::mad: Just the smell of it, when I'm mixing... That's all I need to know. :D

The WTA I still use a bit of... it's 100% VG, and it actually smells kinda good; 'bout halfway between tobacco and hazelnuts. If I could vape VG, I'd probably try it.

Guess you wouldn't have taken to these then, Ms. D.

Oh thanks, pufZ. It's perfectly fine. As I said, we had a good run, and it served its purpose.

We still have several others, and I picked up a silver vine that is still in its box, unwrapped, so it'll be a loverly replacement.

I don't know what it is about the little V3 that I just love so much! Like you, Cap, I've got several others in the arsenal, but there's just something about the iTazte that I love. Maybe it brings old skool back in some way. It's the current eGo device? I love the size, the weight, the sort of "there's nothing to it" aspect.

Why, scott, what do you mean?

Pro is a well built hefty device in my opinion. I hadnt held either before I purchased the PRO. The Coolfire was suprisingly small to me.

I'm surprised how quickly my tastes can change...even while I'm using a 30ml. bottle of a flavor...

The first couple tanks of Derall's Snickers I was like..."It's OK...I'll finish the bottle...but I think I like eating Snickers better than vaping them."

But...by the time I was filling my last couple tanks with it I was like..."WOW!!! This is Fantastic joose. I will ALWAYS include a bottle of Snickers in all my future Six Pack Specials!"

Go figure...

When I first started, and was searching high and low for a tobacco flavor that was at least somewhat similar to what I was accustomed to with my cigarettes... all the sweet tobacco flavors grossed me right out -- they tasted like pipe tobacco to me. The MFS Virginia I finally found was actually quite similar to my accustomed flavor, the bitter-sweet/savory combo... now I can't abide it at all, it tastes "sour" in the way that towels left in a washing machine overnight smell "soured".

And I really couldn't taste the sweet flavors much at all... just the fact that they were sweet, but the actual flavor, not a bit. I had to find some really strong fruit flavors when I first started vaping sweeter flavors, to be able to taste them at all. My tastebuds are still extremely compromised I think, I need such a high level of flavoring to be able to taste much of anything, but they're come a long way towards recuperation. They're out of their 39 yr coma, but still kinda half-asleep. :D

Finally ordered something. Kanger Subox mini for under $50. Uses 18650s, come with a tank that uses coils and includes a rba, 7-50w, .3 ohm min. With tanks running around $30, doesn't seem like a bad deal. At least I get to play with sub ohm.

cool, that’s good to hear… :thumb:

I’m about to do the same
(mini box with take-out batteries)

it will be a new “Vape Style” for me (batts) also

so you will be ‘sportin’ a subtank mini now
those big azz square coils

believe your kit will come vertical coils
I’ve thought of that and think I would build them as horizontal
(think same coil body for both)

then there is the RBA

hope all goes well, let us know…

:)

Sitting down, facing forward.
There was, and probably still are a few, that were using ceramic wicks. Didn't seem to go on for very long and was kind of a PITA in RBAs. Being pre-made in a cartridge should make it easier, but I still wonder about the practicality. Include the "deeming" coming out soon, and it may never get to market in the first place.
