First time you drop it and have to chase the battery and door around the floor you just might re-think your choices. While this mini seems like a decent mod, I feel that if all other thing were equal, a sealed system is going to be tougher than one that has removable parts. Also, how can this mini weigh so much? It is much smaller but still heavier than the CFIV. Do the Chinese think that if they make it heavier we will think it is beefier?
Any who, time will tell. If anyone can break one of these mini's it is me. But to be honest, I don't find myself reaching for it that often. I'm not a lung hitter so I really don't see a big advantage with TC verse the hassles of having to have yet another type of coil/wire/mod. Time will tell.
I bought 1 Isub , and 2 Isub G tanks, and love them..........nice price for both the tanks and the coils. Wanted to try sub ohming and love Innokin products so I figured why not................glad I did
You're probably right Capt and the chance of bending corners so that the door no longer fits. Is the CF4 about the same size?
I have a box with about $300 worth of tanks and coils. Not looking forward to any more vacuum tanks that leak and more coil types. The rda is what sold me on this kit. Next I'll probably be complaining about how small it is, lol.
At least the iSubs are cheap enough to try. Now I have something to fire them with.
I might give this to the wife after a test run.

I'm really glad the CF4 has the internal LiPo -- it lasts for a full day (14-16 hrs) and then some -- longest I EVER got out of an 18650 was 6-8 hrs.

This is the great internal/External debate. There are times I prefer one over the other. I like to be able to swap out batteries and keep a device going. On the other hand it is nice to not have to deal with a separate battery charger.
Under the right circumstances any battery can catch fire, or worse. Given the sheer numbers of lithium ion batteries, of various chemistries, that are in use, daily, overall they are really quite safe, at least IMHO. I think the big worry with LiPO is with multiple cell packs becoming unbalanced between cells. That can lead to some unpleasantness to be sure, but if the device using it is "intelligent" even that can be pretty much eliminated.
IMR, under short conditions, will still get extremely hot, hot enough to expand rather violently. Bottom line is there is no "safe" chemistry when dealing with power capacities this high.
That's why it's so great I have 2 with my name on it... I alternate days with them, so while one is being used, the other is being charged and rested:

While I do get a full day's vape from a 18650 (and more from a 26650) I can get pretty much 2 days out of a MVP20W.

It's weird how much the same battery can vary from device to device -- I have 3 CF4s, and the only one that will ever charge all the way to 4.2v is the pink one; the red one and silver one each only charge to about 4.15v.

Another thought about LiPO batteries, they're in cell phones and many laptops, not mention tablets.
Not when you consider those stories as a percentage of total batteries in use. It's way below car accidents, for example. Plus, how many are a result of user error or carelessness? No one actually find out the details, only the gross fact of "battery explodes" or "battery catches fire". I saw one where a guy was badly burned on the leg by an IMR battery, therefore IMR batteries are dangerous. Fact was he had a fully charged battery in his pocket, along with keys, and not in a plastic container. The battery took the blame though.

Well sure. That's why I also have a silver CF4, 2 iStick30s, a Vamo v2, and 2 Sigelei Zmax's.
The tube mods haven't really been used since I got the boxes though. In fact, one of the Sigeleis hasn't even been taken out of its box -- it's strictly for backup. The other Sigelei used to be my daily, and now gets used only for dry-burning coils.Then there's those 3 vv3s in the drawer, for EXTREME backup -- they all still work, but I got tired of that pushed-down battery-post problem. Plus 800mAh... really doesn't do it for me anymore. But if I need them... they're there.

I have 2 MVP 20W mods and have the same thing. But I don't really notice that one lasts longer than the other.
