Pete, how do you get the filler back into the cartridge?? Having seen badseed's pic, they seem very small.

Right. the smaller inner cart contains the filling. Once it's topped up it simply pops back into the main cart, you'll see how easy it is when you get your EVO

The filler just pushes back in. Personally, I tend not to take the filler itself out.
I either drip straight into open end of the cart, making sure that the cut out is uppermost to avoid dripping straight down to the mouth hole, or I take the inner container out and give it a good soaking while it's lying in a saucer to save the mess. The photo below shows what I mean regarding the inner container, you can see the container with the cutaway and the filler.

That was a good read .... It reminded me of the days i 1st came onto the forum....Lol That videos are now gone off youtube hahaha .... Appart from my own times on the forum, I can remember everything you said, and it has and still is a good journey ... so thanks for that post :thumb:

Oh, this thread is a joy - but isn't it getting long? I keep getting a bit lost and puzzled why there are things posted today popping up in the middle of bits dated end of November. I've just read it through again from scratch and found bits I'd missed before. Anyone know why that happens? I have noticed it elsewhere in the forum too. This is the only forum I've ever joined so little experience of things other people probably think of as 'forum 101'.

Freddo, go back and read the whole thread - there's stuff about refilling the EVO carts back nearer the beginning. ;)

Suzi, I use a pair of long thin tweezers for replacing 'wool' into my 901 carts, works like a charm. They are narrower than my eyebrow tweezers - haven't actually tried with them but think it should work. :D We girls always make do with the tools to hand - eyebrow tweezers make great small screwdrivers when I can't be a*sed to look out the toolbox.

Rusty, consider my hat doffed in admiration - I'm always truly impressed by a man who has the cojones to stand up and admit 'I may have cocked up'. Gotta admit, I'm probably going to look you up for these early posts Apo mentioned... just for the craik, y'unnerstan?

Memo to self - remember people could do this to you too, don't get on a horse TOO tall when you're feeling like a venting some spleen/having a soapbox session...

John, thanks for keeping us updated about the black EVO - <desire>.
But... spotted a bit about another member's tests - think you should perhaps retract the comment about getting stuff tested then not caring or doing anything about the results. I'm sure I've seen something elsewhere about the stuff in it which shouldn't have been there and his taking it up with his manufacturer and getting it sorted out; changes WERE made. Also something about his having to write off a whole batch of menthol which had something else in it that it shouldn't have. I'm fairly certain he's another who fully intends to be in this for the long haul - read about his efforts to meet requirements of CHIP, REACH and Trading Standards - who came along at his own request!!

Actually I think all we members here are amazingly fortunate in being able to communicate with the suppliers like this in the development stages of this technology. I imagine (and hope) that the suppliers themselves also regard it as a really useful feedback tool. No need to go hiring those daft marketing firms to poll consumer reactions! :thumb:

Oh, I'm glad I found this forum - it is such a great combination of information and entertainment. Can't keep spending so much time on it tho'!

Love and peace to all - happy solstice next weekend

The good news is that we'll soon have cartridges with an inner container 50% bigger ie 8-10 cigs worth in each cart. This will save Pete time as he reloads his EVOs, one in each room now isn't it!;-)
John.

Hot damn, I managed a really good pun and hadn't even realised it - thanks, Rusty! You may have removed some video from YouTube but I have watched your 'How to get more vapour out of a Supermini' and now every time I read your posts I can hear them in your accent! (It's nice, BTW) :D

Kate - hope all is OK with you? You haven't changed your 'title' all weekend... Karma Polisher was my favourite.

Realised another great thing about this forum - 'LOL' is a phrase much bandied around here, but on occasions I really DO laugh out loud when I come across something that really tickles me!

:lol::lol: :D:D:D :lol::lol:

Pete, you're a star. I must be a 'visual' sort of person or something. I tried this out with a supermini that I don't really use and I get it totally now. I didn't realise there was an inner cart before. Thanks a lot.

I spoke to John this morning from intellicig. Seemed to be a thoroughly nice bloke.
I have now added an 'evo 1' to my order, so that I have an extra battery and atomiser. This seems to be a good choice if I want to ensure it lasts while I'm away. Naturally, I will have most of my other kit with me too.....can't be too careful :)

Good choice Suzi. The EVO is a nice bit of kit. I've got 70 menthol carts on order from them. I'm getting some penstyle carts from smokester too so I should be sorted for Christmas. :)

Just gotta get rid of the cold I've got that's kept me off work today.

Everyone is suffering in my office at the moment. I am hoping my new hobby is going to keep me safe. (fingers crossed). I hope you are feeling better soon.

You certainly aren't taking any chances either, are you ?:D

Definitely no chances Suzi. :D

I don't think PG helps any with colds. Viruses and bacteria yes as explained in other threads, colds, no. That's a shame that.

I've definitely got a mild case of paranoia making sure I've got enough kit when I go away. I think I'll just take my EVO and my pen with me with the cartridges, rather than having to take juice too. I'm getting menthol and strawberry carts for the pen. I haven't tried strawberry yet.

Any chance these will hit the US?

I'm currently in negotiations with a number of suppliers who want to distribute in the U.S. As soon as deals are finalised I'll pass on their details. Meanwhile you can order direct online from us. If you decide to buy one let me know before you do and I will set up a discount on the shipping. A big advantage is that you don't have to pay VAT on commercial samples which saves you a nice portion.
Cheers.
John.

I'm fine thanks, just a bit short of inspiration. There seem to be so many funny and inventive ideas around here (I really do laugh at some of them) it's hard to compete ;)

Do you have to have a certain amount of posts before you can access that function?

Hey, BadSeed - what do you think a cold IS?

It's a VIRUS!! :D:D:D

Whatever, hope you get over it quickly in time to enjoy Xmas.

My top tips are lemon juice (the real stuff, squeezed) and honey in hot water, not too unpleasant and gives you a heap of Vitamin C to fight it off with. And the really good 'un for the evening is hot milk with a dash of dark rum and some sugar in it. It's delicious. Has to be dark rum for the aromatic (helps stop you snuffling) and just soothes you off to sleep.

Gosh, that was a short post for me - but just did a long 'un on another thread...:thumb:

Igetcha, I asked the same thing too - deeply envious. You have to become a Supporting Member, look under 'Donate' if you have some cash you're willing to help out with. If you're poor like me, stay green with envy!

Lu, the exchange rate today is what I'd call 1.50, I'd get $150 for £100 or the other way round 0.66 so you'd get £66.66 for $100. Great web page here has live mid-rate eachange rates - really useful: :thumb:

I think John has said elswhere that he's working out the prices this week, so we're all on tenterhooks. Perhaps we shouldn't all be so eager, laws of supply & demand... Can't help it though, I want one! :D
