Review of the Sergeant VV Army Tank

I like the size of it. It weighs very little. I got over 15 hours of vape time yesterday on one pair of aw protected batteries. I like how I can't seem to really flood the atty due either to the shallow catch cup or the diameter of the feed tube.

The only two cons I can see (which will disappear with the metal version) are that the juice bottle door slides off pretty easily when taking the tank out of my pocket and also when squonking the juice bottle, I feel like my fingers are going to break the battery door. I haven't broken it, but it creaks under the stress. I am using 100% vg juice so maybe others have not encountered this issue because their pg based juices have lower viscosities.

Overall, a great device. I sold my Reo Grand yesterday and never thought that would happen. Well done, J.

neither of my doors come off easily... it's getting the batt door closed, getting the bottom slot in, that is tricky for me, but now i found i can just pop it down from the top...:)
I will snap up a metal one as soon as available to me.... on the list.
I am so pleased with this PV every day... !
When you get good vape from a good pv, you just get jazzed! :) kudos

ok, i've had my army tank since monday and this thing is rockin my world! It's so tiny it fits in my lower pocket on my ACU's(army combat uniform) and with the on/off switch i don't have to worry about misfires. Little dude hits like a beast too! +1 happy customer. So happy in fact, I got J to add me to the list for the metal version. Thanks J!

if you're waiting for a Sgt tank II, it's just a simple little feeder mod.......that kicks ....!
Not only regulated VV power, that hits like a tank every time, but it doesn't leak at all!
(in my experience)

Some say it's an invert and squeeze, but i'm getting just the right amount by a couple of vertical squeezes.... i usually look for tell tale signs around the base of the atty...and if 901, the hole for a peek of juice.
All this talk makes me even more impatient >_<

only thing that makes me abit paranoid is that the juice bottle is right next to the electronics. Idk how bad it would be to get juice on the board, but kinda scares me a bit. personally, i would prefer the box with juice/electronics to be the same size as the battery box for a bit of extra room and have a wall of some sort to block any stray juice. just my 2 cents.

Those boards are pretty hardy. My version one board is anyway. Ive used it in a lot of fail mods (im not a very good modder) and gotten juice on it. Cleans up fine. Cant speak for version 2 yet. And as far as the metal one I believe, and correct me if Im wrong J, he was planning on using the the version two board and making it compatible with 14500 bat. Same basic size but with a more durable body. Again correct me if im wrong j and sorry if Im stepping on your toes.

good point guys... don't know if j mentioned addressing it, but i think he did...?
i wonder about it too, and so far i haven't had any leaks... the only time it might happen for me is while loading a bottle and screwing it on again, with the tube hanging out dripping while loading bottle...
while comments about improvements or basic changes are reasonable, i am really impressed with what i get for my investment in version II. and i think the odd shape and composition of the double rectangle (one smaller) is unique, and probably fits better in the average medium sized hand. In fact you can hold, feed, and fire with one hand! Love it.

You don't have to worry about that since it does not leak. I'm still in the works of testing it for the past few days and haven't noticed a single drop enter the inside of the mod. I've looked LOL!!

Also, you do have a legitimate point about juice effecting the electronics but, IMO it's a bullet proof feeding system that is completely sealed. As for things being compact inside of the mod. It has to be that way or the mod would be larger than it is now.

thanks Creniker, you never step on my toes, mate! yes, it'll be the same switching regulator as version II, it will indeed take 2 14500's and pretty much follow the exact same design and features. the catch-cup will be part of the body and should hold a little more juice. ill be heat shrink tubing the electronics in the metal version for various reasons so it should help protect the board even more.
