Just got back from a colorado vacation. Lanyard sure was nice for the 4 hour horse trail ride. Batteries lasting me all day @ 4.1 volts, left my spares in the hotel room and just swapped out at night. Attracted no attention this time because it doesn't look like I'm smoking a pipe or cigar. Stealth vaped the entire tour of the Cave of Winds by turning it down too like 3 volts. 16 hours worth of drving time was fantastic due to bottomfeeding.

Brought the reo mini and my army tank. Reo never left the glovebox :)

Jmarkus,

A cast combining the two would be very interesting to say the least, a bit bigger of a catch cup would be cool too, maybe something like the Reo Grand has on it since your going to cast this it could all be done in one piece. I like the thoughts of this a lot and think it would be a killer Mod, your original Idea of joining the Batt box to the juice and Atty box was nice too, but casting the two together is even better and will be super nice if you do this in a one piece and anodize them too.

its the linear reg from madvapes. i actually did a lot of research to find something small enough so not to compromise the size of the mod as well as price. i've had great results with reg im using, no protection cutoff, small footprint, cheap price. ill keep looking for a switching reg thats small enough to fit and cheap enough to be worth it.

I wasn't able to see the pics earlier of how small crammed in there the reg is(work pc's firewall doesn't like a lot of image hosts) but I got a chance to look on my phone and I see what you are talking about with the limited space. just out of curiosity do you have any issues with heat? primarily concerned with the juice in the bottle getting too warm as its right next to the reg, from experience bottom feeders leak a ton when the juice starts getting warm and thins out.

Only heat I have noticed from the regulator was from LRs. 1.5s and dual coil 1.5s. At 2.0 and up I notice nothing and thats chain vaping all day. Pretty impressive stepping down from 7 volts too 3.triple coils get crazy hot but I think that's the heat of the carto itself.

In terms of the switching regulators vs linear, didn't I read somewhere that the performance of the attys is changed? I know u get a ton better battery life using switching, but attys act worse. All my vvs are linear, think the provari is linear as well. Only mod out at the moment using the switching type is the monkeybox?

I'm still impressed with battery life all things considered. I'm getting 3ml of juice on a set of aw imr's. Double the life of that and that would mean I could vape all day on one set out of a mod almost as small as a reo mini.
