after all the cad work and tons of calling and researching about 10,000 different investment casters, die casters, milling shops, 3d printers and everything under the sun, i've come to the conclusion that the amount of money i'd need to spend to get the tank done in its current design in metal just isnt worth it. i've started to do some research on resin casting with a more durable and protective material. ill see how that goes and fill you in as i find out more. if i do a metal version, i'll have to rethink the design completely. this was a tough thing to come to grips with. bummer.

Well, you have to do what you have to do at this point. If it's not worth it than that's a smart move to make on your part. Looking forward to seeing what you have planned in the future.

Aw Man that really bites Brother, I know you were really looking forward to those. But I know from the performance of the V2 that whatever you come up with next is also going to be Just Plain Incredible and will definitely be added to my lineup :D

eer.. izzit possible to change the batts size? by not using the current 14500? maybe can make it small on the mod?

by looking at the 3D picture is will same as the normal army tank. maybe just a improve version with solid material.

Mr J. izzit possible make it 1 solid mold? like my friend (Jim) suggest combine 2 pieces of CR 123 batts?

just an option. :)

I'm still enjoying ur army tank ! ! Lol....

WANT!!!!!!!!

+1 On That, as soon as they are made I will be ordering one.

I have to say this, JMarkus is by far an Excellent Vendor!!! Without a shadow of a doubt he stands behind his work 110%. I believe my error that I ran into to be user inflicted. After I sent my Army Tank back to him for a look over, he kept in constant vigilant contact with me doing everything he could think of to replicate the problem I was having. He was unable to replicate it and I believe after much thinking on what could have caused the short all week this week I believe I have narrowed it down to the fact that I may have had everything screwed down way to tight on the connector which could have easily put any one of the pin connections off just enough to cause it to short and not work properly. Today I got my precious Army Tank back and screwed everything down on it without as much force and it is once again working like the CHAMP that it is :D

Many Many Thanks to you JMarkus for putting up with such a Box Mod/Bottom Feeder Nooby :D
I look forward to purchasing your next rendition whenever it is available, and you can slate me down for a pre order no matter how long it takes to get it down :D

Sincerely;
Nate aka Darth Vapor
