Mine looks like yours. Except mine has threads inside the 510 connector. Wish I had a better camera.

Well it has threads, but the first thing i noticed when i opened it and looked was metal dust.... Its just the clearos dont make contact to the sides of the battery

So, if the V3 does have threads the clearos should be able to screw in there. I don't get it.

The v3 has threads, the clearos have threads. But it seems the clearos base is too small... When u put your clearos on do they push in? Or do u have to screw it? When i push my clearos in theres some kinda spring that pushes it back out

In post #30 you said that one will screw on but will not line up. What is different looking about this one from the rest?

Also, when I first screwed on the clearo out of the box, the last quarter turn to line it up was a little stiff.

I screw them in. I haven't noticed any springiness.

I'm not real familiar with itastes, but that looks like a bum unit if it has threading on the battery. I know they used to have magnet style itastes a long time ago .. http://www.healthcabin.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=8094,
so i was thinking you got the wrong battery unit and needed a magnet adapter to connect a 510 in there, but if it has threading i'm pretty sure it just didn't come out of factory right.. can you get a closer image of the inside of that battery head threading?

The newer iTastes (V3 and 10S) no longer use a magnet connector.

Yea that's your center pin. It could possibly be pushed up too high and is preventing the clearo from going in, is it hitting the clearo before you can even get started threading?

granted though i wouldn't even mess with that if the center pin is messed up, i'd just send it back.


and any old 510 attys hangin' around you can try on there or anything? or is this all you got?

This is all i got my first set uo of this kind.... I have a halo triton and a vision spinner, and this was suppose to be my baby!

lol i'm watching your video and it just seems like either the clearo is too small or the battery head too big like you said. the fact that the two units are sitting flush while you're twisting and pushing it together without screwing it is a sure sign that is not going to connect.

don't think that's going to work no matter what you do, so i think you just have a defective battery or carto, or the wrong combination, which seems unlikely since i don't believe they make different sized clearos for the 10s itastes, and the squareness seems to allign with size of your battery. that or you got stripped threads, dno.

and with your vision spinner, you only have ego threaded atomizers? No just regular small 510 atomizers?

Hopefully gotvape has good customer service. I sent a msg through the website. Its gonna be a long weekend!
