hi one quick question, when you buy the mako will you have to buy all three sleeves or can i buy just one of the sizes?
Constructed from 6082 grade aluminium with custom designed button the Mako is a completely mechanical design. It features a large lockable end button (as seen in the picture above) and a large vent hole as standard on all units. All parts are modular and easily repairable/replaceable.
Does this unit provide anyways for the battery's to vent without building pressure allowing the pipe bomb effect?
Sorry found it!
Looks very stylish Tim, and I love the adaptability of the Mako...
Can't wait to see Alexander's next appearance... along with his Mako, of course.
Very Nice indeed I really like the locking end cap for traveling![]()
I see in the latest video that you totally changed the design of the headcap, from it's original thin and flat design, seen in alex's video, to a taller, recessed cone design...
Hi Raven
Yes the prototype in the earlier videos was just a working model, but the latest video is the finished look. Both the button and the atomiser end cap have been made slightly larger/shape altered which was something we originally planned for.
This doesn't add much to the overall length (1mm button increase) when the mouthpiece is connected as the atty is recessed.
Some other improvements to the original were working in a ball bearing for a smooth turning action on the locking button, also overall improved functionality to the button which now has a much smoother action to the original and also taking in the button slightly so the travel distance has been shortened.
I might be wrong, but I thought he was taking a little dig at you due to the similarity to the head-cap on the Chuck...
Raven?
Hi Apple,
I haven't really studied the Chuck - is it really similar?
I guess there is only so much you can do with a cylindrical end cap without making it look totally obscure...... I've tried to keep abreast of all the designs coming out so to avoid any obvious faux pas, but it's getting harder with so many new models coming out. Thanks for the heads up I'll take a look.![]()
Don't get me wrong, I'm not calling you on it, cuz almost all the mods have one thing or another in common. I'm not saying for sure that's what Raven meant either. That's just the impression I got from the wording and his involvement with the Chuck. I like all of 'em, and wish I had the cash to buy 'em all. Really like the looks and size of the Mako and keeping a close eye on it, cuz I can really only afford one or two. Also love the customized graphics of the Chuck, the crazy steampunk versatility of the GGTS, the 5v Prodigy with the solid product and service, the SB for it's looks and high volt options, etc, etc..... all have their downsides too though, and there's always a new one being "teased" to everyone. It's crazy hard to pick just one when that's all you can afford.
I can totally see that. That's why I wouldn't call foul on this one.

I'd like to see a close-up of the end-cap too, but I think you might be overreacting here, Raven. They're different sizes, different threading, it's only an endcap shape, and as he said, how may options are there in that arena? If I took grainy cell phone pics of the Chuck's head-cap and the PS PT's headcap I could make them look similar.
Of course, if it looks EXACTLY the same, you might have some beef, but it's still just a head-cap, and not some major designing genius. I don't even think it's made from the same material, is it? And that's part of the Chuck's claim-to-fame, right? Don't get all worked up over a cosmetic similarity, please. That's all I'm askin'.
