oh man I hate to say it but unless the light goes out it will need to be replaced... because the light should be going out when fully charged and not in use.
Darn. You know I unplugged the auto X2 about an hour and a half ago and started charging the manual one. Guess what? The manual one seems to work perfectly. It charged in about an hour or so and the LED turned off as it's supposed to. I guess the manual one got to me with a decent charge in it to begin with. I assumed it would take 3-4 hours as per the product page but again it only took about an hour.
So at least I have a working (manual) unit in the interim that seems to be charging and turning off ok. I take it I should contact SI customer service directly about a replacement for the auto X2 and return the malfunctioning one? Thanks.
