I've been using my X2 mostly on the passthrough since i got it a few weeks ago. Recently the bottom LED goes out, even when the unit is just sitting, so that i'm not getting a charge. At first it helped to jiggle the wire a little near the connection to the battery but it is getting worse. anyone else have this problem?

Yes, I had one and the plug fit loosely in the Battery connector, I keep this as my spare and use the cable that arrived with my third X2.

Is the LED on the auto supposed to be super dim when you take a drag? I just got a purple one today, and I thought it was defective until I went into the bathroom and turned off the lights. I can just barely see the purple LED light up. I thought it would be at least as bright as my 78mm standard volt battery...

Nope, sometimes that happens because the airflow sensor (which also carries the LED) is far back inside the battery, try to pull it more on the outside and make sure the sensor is inside the rubber sealer. DO NOT use metal tools cause there is power on those cables (the red is positive directly from the battery).
If it doesn't light more then replace your battery.

------EDIT-------
Sorry i thought i was talking for the 78mm bat's.
I have no idea.

Just wanted to let you know that I've started having this exact same problem as well. I think I've had this battery for two or so months. This is my second battery that I've had issues with. I sent the first one back because the charging LED didn't work at all. I'm pretty disappointed in the quality of the X2s so far, but at least we can all commiserate with our charging issues.

Anybody have any input on my LED issue above? Need to know if it is a warranty issue or normal

If I understand right, you're referring to an x2, right? My blue auto has a blue led, which is not super bright but I can see it if I cup my hand around the end of the batt when I take a drag and I can see it while the batt charges.

You know the batt is charged when the light goes out, so you need to be able to see it for that. If you can't see the light while it's charging there must be something wrong with the batt. In which case you should email SI on their website or call them.

I have 2 manual X2's, a 1300 and 650 mAh. The connection between both batteries and both of the newer passthru/charger cords is finicky to say the least. I can't trust the connection enough to use the cords strickly as a pass for the batteries; to recharge I have to lay the connected battery "just right" for it to go thru the charging process, any movement of the cord and the charging light goes out.

There seems to be a quality control issue involved with the proper mating/fitting of this connection, as a few people have been experiencing this.

I have 5 X2's and havent had an issue with any of them other than I didnt like the auto. I think I have gotten too used to manual ones. I returned it and they issued a refund within 24 hours. As soon as the new colors come out, I will order a manual one in the new color.

Imagine, any word on the when the new colors will be here? Would love to place an order for them on Saturday.

most likely the cord just needs to be replaced.
