It's OK... feels kind of cheap, especially if you've used an SX Mini, but it's a good deal for the price. No issues... just not exactly something you'd want to show off.
Really??
The SX Mini feels cheap compared to a Tessaract but were talking about a sub $50 device that works perfectly for a small TC mod.

I almost have been using cloupor mini exclusively since last january ... This mod is around the same size and does TC ... I am very happy with it. Have mine now for a week or 3, and its the only thing I am using with a zephyrus with dual coil titanium, and its a smooth vape

well it is <1/5th of the price so it is cheap! I think its a well built device. Works very well.

For comparison's sake, I prefer my D2's over my more-recently-purchased VTC Mini because they just feel better in my hand and I seem to get better vape quality in TC mode - although the VTC Mini is no slouch. On that note, my silver D2 (firmware v3) performs better than my black one (firmware v2) in Ti mode whereas I can set the temp lower on my silver one and achieve the same vape quality as my black one on a much higher temp setting.

Thanks for all the replies, definitely picking one up as a TC work mod so I can give my rDNA40 a break.
Its a good purchased, ive had mine for 2 mo and its a great little device. Very pocket able even with the largest of tanks and the TC works very well. I use mine in TC mode with kanthal too I never change the mode really. It does not regulate the temp with kanthal but I believe it vapes better that way and you can get step down voltage.

Joytech makes the vtc mini.
Yihi is still stuck on the 2.3 ver software test for ti.
And they are releasing the ml class . Talk is that they will stop upgrade for the m class .

The test ti upgrade for the mini works flawlessly as far as I know. If they put it back out and removed the test I guess that makes it better? There is nothing to fix on the M class.

In a nutshell. The choice is between the dee2 and vtc mini.
I bought the dee2. A lot of people find the upgradable software in the vtc mini a better choice but since owning the sx mini for a month and yihi's betrayal. I'm not sure if these companies will keep their promise for software upgrades.
So I feel that i'll just pay for the mod and use it till it pops. And when the time come buy a newer one.
P.S. prefer the all black look and form factor.

Hey man here is some news to cool your jets. Yihi has never let anyone down and stand behind their products. You have one of the best TC devices available, its upgradable and will be able to use SS in a short time. Anyway good luck with your device I would be very happy to own it myself.

What battery would be the longest lasting when I only plan on using temp control and max 40w? I'm just wanting to make sure I can get a full day out of it. I can't find anything from searching on longest lasting 18650 for my purpose. Everything seems to point to ss 25r but I feel like there's gotta be something that will last longer. Thank you!
