Yeah, it's an amazing value to be honest. I'm in the market too and it's currently my #2 choice behind the Sigelei 50w. If the price drops to $60, it's going to be tough to beat.

Waiting to see some if they've addressed some of the problems with the ipv mini v1.

This actually is NOT a v2.
It is the IPV mini2
Exact same Body
Totally different Chip set

I have 2 mini 30w and the Black mini 70w All of them work great.

Mini 2 is averaging under $70 and I got mine for 62.99 Sorry, but for the few bucks difference I would go with what I have.

Thanks but I totally understood that from the get go.

What I meant was that there were certain bugs with the ipv mini v1 such as build quality issues and misreading resistances--typical ipv stuff.

So I would like to see if ipv has made improvements the way siegelei has, or simply upgraded the board. I think it's likely the board functions way better than the sx130 in the v1.

Not sure what Build quality issue you mean?
Stripped cap threading is User error
Tilted 510 on a few - fairly simple to correct
I would think the biggest problem with the V1 is for users wishing to run at the Mods minimum spec due to the .1 lower reading. I also think several users are not keying in on resistance issues external to the mod. After working on a few of my Tanks I found Loose adjustable 510 pin issues, e--liquid soaked pins and a few other anomalies that all effect readings.
I have dropped mine from nearly 6' with no noticeable damage - well the 2 piece drip tip on the tank popped apart.

The SX330 chip is Killer nice and accurate.
The difference between the v1 and 2 at 30w is very noticeable and I have to say the more powerful v2 is the accurate one, matching my other mods at 30w.

No, I'm no fan boy - lol - I have so much junk it isn't funny. This is just one more device in my never ending Hobby.:D

Off to check on the location of my in transit Black Cloupor mini.............. will it fire or Catch on

    No you can't
Got mine this week from Elev8 Vape $45.99 plus 15% off (feb15).

It goes to 30 watts more then I need and it rocks battery life good has the sx130 chip in it. I haven't got one complaint with this PPV mini.

I can recommend it as long as 30 watts is all you want.

One feature I like is that it goes down to five watts and that's perfect when I'm using my single coil fogger mini with a 2.ohm coil any higher and I would be burning my juice and wick up.

Ok, that's good to hear. It sounds like the sx330 boards in both ipv and sigelei devices are similar, if not the same, and are very accurate.

I got the IPV3 recently and love it, but a big to big & clunky for me to carry. I was going to get the Mini but glad I held off for the Mini2.. That thing looks like it will be my dream device!! Sleek, compact, and accurate 5-70watts in that little box - what more could you ask for at that price!?
    :D
I'm really excited to get it but also waiting to see if I can grab it for $60 or less, got my IPV3 $97 shipped around thanksgiving.. These IPV's seem to be built rock solid, dead accurate in power and ohm readings, amazing performance and great looks - all around great mods!

I just got this mod yesterday, and it was exactly what I wanted, but mine has started firing all by itself, just sitting there not having been touched...now it won't stop firing...anyone have any ideas what might be causing that?

possibly a stuck firing button, but likely a chip issue. Maybe, if lucky, a chip lock up.
Pull the battery. Wait a few minutes then reinsert.
If it resets, give it a good run and see. If it fails again contact your vender for a DOA replacement. Tell them it has auto fired every time you touch the switch and you have to pull the battery to stop it. :)

The IPV Mini has a mobile charger feature that makes it seem like it is firing non stop.
    Try holding:
fire button + the (+) button
fire button + the (-) button
    (+) + (-) buttons

    see if that helps

You are not helping. IPV mini has NO MOBILE. Pressing -/+ together locks the Mod.

PBusardo's tests on the sx330 chip showed it putting out slightly higher output than what it should be, that's ok with me, better than lower.

    NOT the same Chip Version.

What's the difference? My ipv mini offers each of those options

    No PWM - Different Chip

    Your Mini is the 30w?
    They only look the same.

The mini 2, same as other SX330's is DC-DC only.

Got the original mini in December. Just got the Mini 2 today. Thx for the PWM v. DC-DC info. The "instructions" that came with the Mini 2 were the same as my original :p The fire button seems "softer" on the 2 than on the original. I had a little trouble with the battery chamber - it seemed narrower than on my original. Battery slides right in on the original, but seemed like it was catching on something on the 2.

Haven't cranked it up yet, but very pleased with it. Vapenw now has them for $59.99.
