Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
1. While it "can" vape while charging the manual recommends you do not.
2. This device is not the best choice for sub-ohming and performs great (arguably better) at higher ohms. Your best bet is to wrap a coil that can make use of the entire voltage range which would be over 1 ohm.

It looks like a stellar device and I am close to purchasing one myself. I might wait for a 2x 18650 instead, I'd rather have the extra capacity.

Oops , seemed you already covered that point already .

Wow, people really need to take it down a notch here. We honestly don't have enough information at this point. BudKiss may be accurately relaying the information he received from P4U, but there may have been something lost in the translation. Elev8 said they are going to be receiving a shipment tomorrow after which they will provide photographic proof and start fulfilling the rest of the preorders. At the end of the day, if you're the kind of person who's going to get so worked up over this kind of stuff, then maybe preorders aren't for you. By now, there are enough other vendors out there who have it in stock and can ship it to you right away. If you care that much about it, just order from one of them and call it a day. From what I've heard, Elev8 will honor refunds on the preorders.

Yo i built a 1.4ohm coil and been using it all day, and i haven't noticed much difference in the vape if i'm honest, a little warmer and a slight bit more flavour but i don't know if thats just because the build is better or something. I did notice my battery didn't die as quick as it did with my sub ohm builds, i had it in my head that lower resistance means lower output voltage which equals longer battery but you was right so thanks again for the info :D

Now i just gotta figure out how to keep the resistance up while still doing my twisted and quad coil builds somehow lol

Thank you very much for the feedback. I am glad I could help! My experience mirrors yours, higher ohms = more surface area = more heat and flavor in a small but perceptible amount. I see many people using regulated devices at sub ohms and I think its just an easy mistake to make since we all been chasing the sub-o so long.

*Looks around at the craters of war* I was away a few days and this thread turned into a war scene, lol. Lets all work together and make the best of this excellent forum!
