I have had the IPV2 since early pre order days.
It went Bad and Elev8 sent me a new one, even though I couldn't find my warranty
(Shout out!)

Took 3 weeks, so I figured I'd try a Sig 100

Tested both at 50 W on a .5 dual coil on a bored out (1/8") Tugboat

Surprised that the IPV tastes smoother to me
I tried the SIG at 100 W and it was too hot for me also. Tried a single 1.2 as well.
Nice flavor, but still too hot for me

My hands are a bit small, and I just prefer the form factor of the IPTV Better.
I like the USB powering as well
Will re warp with a Carbon Jwrap soon .

For those on the fence, unless you plan to use 1 ohm or above, you really can't take full advantage of the 100 (IMHO)
For the IPV2, I may try a single at 1 ohm as well, but right now my .5 dual (9 wraps on 26 I think ?) at 50 is perfect for me
And that's what it's all about - finding your sweet spot.

Funny story...well you had to be there in the moment

I'm at my local B&M last Sunday, watching the game and enjoying the crowd of fellow vapers, getting my Orchid V3 rebuilt to perfection
(really a nice tank when wicked and coiled correctly)
Guy comes in with a 250 Watt Variant Titanium Box mod - really beautiful device, but 800.00 !
Anyway, everyone here shares their devices, to taste juice and try other's mods (Own drip tip required !)
So one of the Workers there , big guy, who normally vapes his Sigelei 100, asks to try it.
Unknowingly it was at 250 W and not juiced up much at all.
A dry hit at a level I never want to go though.
He chocked his head off , and yes , we were all laughing like High school guys watching our friends take a Bad MJ on a bamboo B--G Hit
(for those that remember that)

Went down to 125 watt on his own pre made juice and it was hot but really flavorful

You cant get 100w with a 1ohm build on the Sigelei 100. In order to run it at 100w you need to build sub ohm, which it does marvelously for the price point its in.
The trick to 100+ watt vaping is a *LOT* of airflow and perfect wicking, otherwise you get an extremely hot vape or dry hits/hotspots. Theres only a couple attys that will support 100+ watt vaping without scorching your lungs, those being the Mutation X, Doge, CLT V2 Plus, possibly the Dark Horse (havent tried that yet) and similar attys, just about every other atty will need large scale drilling to open them up.
With that said, now you can find the Sigelei 100 cheaper than the IPV2, so if high wattage is wanted, theres no reason not to go that route. The Sigelei has been very reliable and more accurate than my IPV2. If you dont ever plan on going over 50w then the IPV2 is a better form factor in the hand, of course the battery life is substantially shorter than the Sigelei.
Both have well performing flat DC/DC signals though in my experience. For just over $80 though, the Sigelei is the clear winner, IMO.

The iPV should be priced considerably lower than it is imo , especially at this time so long after release ,it's popularity keeps it's price high and it would be even more popular if not for P4U's partnering with a terrible aftercare warranty partner, Asmodus.

At least it comes with a charging cord though and you don't have to pay an extra $20.00 for it through Asmodus like on the iPV III.

The best deal out there imo is the iPV 35 watt , priced as low as the mid $60.00 range at some vendors.

The Sig is great , just wish the buttons on the 100 watt were on the Sig 50 watt.
