IPV3 Charger?

How much have people paid for their IPV3s? I paid $120. I would never use the touch sensor, so my only concern is the wall charger. I have one that works but I am hesitant to use it without knowing more about why it shows 12v on the 9v setting (not under any load). Other than having to charge the batteries externally my IPV3 works like a champ.
I paid $125 for mine. Should be here this week. Or should I return it unopened and get the:
Cloupor T8 150w
Sigeli 100w
SMY God 180w
Any opinions on those mods vs IPV3? I have always like P4U and I enjoyed the IPV2, but obviously they have stepped way down in quality. Although a lot of ppl don't like Cloupor, my cana mod v3 runs great. I have never owned a Sigeli device and I don't know anything about SMY.

Well, I'm sure I was simply an unlucky buyer however my sigelei 100 watt didn't work upon my receiving it. It would say check atomizer when you fired it, it would not read any resistance, and yet it would still fire all of my atomizers at what would appear to be its full capability of 7 volts. I wouldn't necessarily bash sigelei however mine did not work and nobody had it in stock at the time so I found my IPV 3 locally instead. I also sent their Sigelei back with the Quality Control card on top torn in half. And for what it's worth I paid $130 for my IPV3

Just wait for the DNA 40 and build your own or or wait for a DNA 40 based box mod.
In retrospect based on pioneer4you's past track record, I should have known not to even fool with it, but I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt hoping they got their crap together, but I see they haven't and probably never will.
Besides there is no practical reason to have a device over 50w other than bragging rights because IMO anything over that is ridiculously unuseful for vaping purpose, and should be reserved for flame throwers and fire starting devices.
Also I see no valid reason for vaping purposes to have batteries in series, regulated mod or not.
That being said the sx330 is it's self preforming stellar no gripe with yihi there, the problem lies with pioneer4you for pushing out half azz products.

That's precisely why I decided to join your forum and chime in. however my big question is, I don't want to cause irreversible damage to my device by applying 12v to it when it wants 9v if that is the case. What do you think though? Will it damage it or should i give it a go. also just to see what it did, I used my variable voltage switch on my DC adapter and tried 3, 4.5, 6, and 7.5v and the red light did not illuminate until I put it to 9v.....
Before I found a working psu I was planning on snipping the wires from the charger that go to the SX330 and then plugging in a 12V charger... If you don't disconnect it first who knows what will happen if it fails. but it might be checking for battery safe charging voltage before it sends the power over... so you might need to connect it directly to two batteries in series to test it fully.
I would rather mess up a couple cheapo lion batteries I have laying around that I don't use anymore or just the charger board -- instead of potentially damamging the SX330 board and end up with a $149.00 paper weight...

Thanks I contacted Vapor Range last night asking them if it is a different version with a working touch sensor and there reply was
I paid 134.99 from Eciggity. I could have gotten it a little cheaper but I found that eciggity had a good reputation with us vapors so I spent a little more for what I considered to be peace of mind.
I really had less interest in the charger cord because I am just used to swapping batteries. I figured though the cord would be good to have and since it was listed as a included item when I purchased. I really feel that they should have included one on the pre-orders and for orders after the announcement they could have gone with the additional cost on those purchases.
As far as the touch sensor goes I am not sure if I would of been into using it or not as I never had a chance to try it. I will say the charging port and the touch sensor were features that led me to ordering the ipv3 over the Sigelei 100w though.
I do not see myself getting into another pre-order with a Chinese manufacturer. I think I will just wait and weigh the pros and cons after they are widely available in the future. P4U seems to have a disconnect with their customers. Their website is terrible and their FB page is a ghost town.
Like you, other than the cord and ts issue mine also works like a champ. Would be nice to see the numbers on a scope though.
In comment to the DNA 40, Vaporshark has their pre-order going and has lowered the price on their dna 30 to 119.00

GreenLeaf and Pioneer4 you was set up to be their HIGH END LINES...Like Lexus/Toyota. So you are correct that they are SEPARATE COMPANIES...but they are also "related"...as in they have the same (overall) parent company. Thank you for the note!

A question for you electronic wizards out there. I went through my box of adapters and found a 9v with the correct head. The catch is it puts out 1.5A (1500 mA) and I think I saw the specs stated 0.5 A for the charging port. On my external battery charger I have 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5A choices to charge these batteries. Is 1.5A going to fry anything on the charging board on my IPV3 device?

I strongly disagree with a built-in charger in a device that uses stacked batteries. discourages people from takeing necessary action of swapping position of cells and cannot balance the cells.
How often should stacked batteries be rotated? I hear after every charge is the best, but obviously it kinds of defeats the purpose of using the internal charger in the ipv3. Is once every month sufficient? More often?
What is this based on?
Laptop batteries, while it is a different application, are series connected cells and they charge just fine?
Magnets would be preferred, but I would even be happy with just D Ring Style screws on the back, anything where a tool to open it up is not required
