My first pre-order as well. I agree that I would rather wait a little longer if my chances increase that I will be getting a better unit. Hope my Cana DNA30 holds out.

It seems P4U is just responding to the competitions offerings and rushing these things at a frantic pace.
They should just put as much effort and time as necessary to make sure these units are the best they can be . Of course that will never happen though and it's about selling as many as possible over making sure the customers are truly satisfied with the product and it's aftercare offerings.

I've pre-ordered things before, but this is the kind of pre-order that drives me nuts. Usually there is a set release date, here it's a day to day question mark of whether it shipped, or it shipped and is stuck in customs, back to it hasn't shipped yet...
The no power cord thing seems a tad shifty as well. Bad planning, poor design. And yet I still keep checking everyday in the hopes that one I pre-ordered two months ago gets here soon.

With vaping gear. more often than not the preorder expected release date changes. This is my second preorder, the IPV2 was my first. With the IPV2 they rushed to meet the anticipated date and shipped some small batches to a few vendors that skipped the official QC process, probably as a favor, and their were some problems.
Having been through the IPV2 preorder, I think it's a good thing that they aren't rushing out a few small batches, all it did with the IPV2 was send out more subpar units than would have been sent otherwise, which was a problem because many people were ...... that others who preordered got there unit but they didn't, and because the ones that did go out had the negative attention and press, so at the same time the internet was buzzing with people ...... because they had units rushed out too early and everyone else ...... that they didn't get units rushed out early like the others.
I think P4U is handling this better based on my research but only time will tell.
I'm just as impatient as anyone else, I was going to order another mod today if anyone had any in stock but I haven't found any of the competitors in stock either. Just something to tinker with until the IPV3 gets here.
There's been some problems with P4U's US repair center/warranty claim center and support contractors, so that may be something P4U is attempting to address as well.
I hope my post doesn't come off wrong I'm not meaning anything critical I was just sharing my observations in case they're helpful.

The rest will be sent after the China holiday. They have shipped out our first wave of shipments to us today. We apologize for any inconvenience!
Eciggity Yes, we will be receiving 50 Blacks and 150 Silvers on the first shipment.

No I meant that I liked the black with silver trim not that I have one in hand. I am factoring my odds on receiving one if I change colors.
I ordered black. Unfortunately my order # was 11 off the order # of the ones from the first wave. Going to have to wait until after chinese holiday.

I wonder if Vape Outlet (ebay) order has shipped. I was the first purchase on their ebay listing so I think I should be getting mine from the first batch. I went with black as well. I chose it before the pictures of the IPV3 were out. I am glad they actually made it black rather than the IPV2 gray. The touch screen will blend in nicely. The silver trim looks nice as well.
Yeah I saw your comment on the facebook page. I did the color switch to get first wave because I am not that patient of a person and calculated up to another month wait time if I did not. I was number 34 for black after the first wave. 23 behind you on the black order. With how this thing is going they would say... well we only got 33 blacks sent to us for wave two lol. I figure I will just wrap it and love it.
They assured me they go by the order number and had a large number of unsold silvers so I was essentially guaranteed to be sent one. If they don't I will get them to stick with my original color lol. Truthfully they have been pretty responsive and have answered all my questions in a professional manner.
lol getting closer and closer. I am not sure how long the Chinese holiday is. I know fasttech has banner up saying they are taking orders but will not be processing them until the third or something.I looked up the Chinese holidays. From what I could tell, this one goes through October 11th. If so, that really bites that we have more waiting time. Christmas is getting closer.
I was wondering if these boxes will be stuck waiting in China until the end of the holiday anyway?
