That efest 20Amp battery isn't a 20 Amp battery... I'm curious on how it performs...if you were using a mech, I'd tell you to return it.

Look it up in the batteries and charger forum.. I'll edit in a moment with it.

They are purple Efests 35a 2500mah. I noted 20a because they are actually LG 20a batteries, IIRC. I've been using them in my mech mod for about two months and they work great. I don't build really low ohm coils. I stick around .4-.5, though I have used a .2 build with them before. I have genuine Sony VTC4's also, but I won't buy anything called Sony VTC's anymore since they are pretty much all fake now. I doubt anyone is going to make fake Efest so at least I know they are what they are. I also have purple Efest 30a, which I've read are VTC4's, but who knows. They also work great for me. The risk of buying fake VTC's now is who knows what you are getting. Sony doesn't make them anymore, so it's not like they are even re-wrapped batteries from Sony, like what Efest does.

All I use now. I have replaced all my green sleeves. Love this batt. Well made, great skin and lasts. Good post.

Got mine yesterday. Seller VapeOutlet sent me a silver one, despite me not responding that I wanted silver in place of black, when they asked, since they had silver in stock. I guess I will never order from them again. That aside, the mod has some scratches on the screen and P4U logo. A little glue around the P4U logo that I was able to rub off. Other than that, it seems to vape good. Being my first VW mod, I am not wowed over the performance compared to my MCV Overdose and the builds I use. I haven't used it long enough though. I understand that I should get good vape for a longer period than with a mechanical mod since it pushes the voltage regardless of battery drain, plus it has two batteries. I probably will never buy another P4U device at the price I paid. I think the thing is worth less than $100. It does look nice, but it is kind of bulky in the hand, but I have to kind of expect that for something with two batteries.

Did you take the plastic protective film off of the readout and logo glass? Some people forget it's on there.

Getting a little flustered.

Did you really buy the unit SPECIFICALLY for the touch sensor and the charging capabilities? Is that such a deal-breaker that you no longer want the device? The touch sensor was dangerous (and the touch sensor is not hooked up to any electronics in the IPV3, meaning it will never work, regardless of software updates), and charging batteries inside your box is probably not the safest/most effective way to charge your batteries.

Among other things, at a reasonable wattage (ie: 15w), the IPV3 will last 4+ days. I'm going on day 5 and I still have more than half battery life.

Yeah..how's it dangerous?..other than possible burns from spitting?

From what I've read, it's possible that if juice gets on the sensor, it could cause the device to fire.

Edit: Not sure I'd want a touch sensor on something like this - anyway, I prefer the feel of an actual button when vaping, but that's a personal preference.

Yeah... I've messed with that on my IPV2...but in the end, those "experiments" probably caused it to fail...

But every time I caused it to auto fire, a quick tip or wipe would stop that. I played around with it for a while.

Now, my touch sensor has juice in the lense underneath it...causing the same issue, but not able to wipe that.

I guess it isn't sealed...

For me (on my IPV3) it'd be unusable, since my atomizer's airflow holes face towards the side of the device (ie: one is basically right above the touch sensor), and every time I vape, a bit of vapor pours out of the airhole. That thing would be auto-firing every time I went to vape it. In my opinion, that's dangerous.

Holy crap. I tried peeling it away before, but it was just scratching it even more, so I thought that was just how it was and there wasn't a protective film on it. I just tried it again with a razor, and I found it and was able to remove it. Thanks.

Your welcome. I think the non functioning touch sensor has it also, but I left the film on it.
