It has one, it will be exactly like the silver one. Those pics are either new renders or just a light reflection on it from the lights used to take the pictures. They wouldn't re-design it and use different materials just for a color change.

It looks like a dummy model to me, like cellphones manufacturers make. I don't see any battery contacts in there either. That's my guess.

Yea, it could possibly be just a dummy model they used to show pictures of black color. I'm fairly confident though that it's the same as the silver just in black.

It looks like GearBest has removed the pre-order status from the ipv4...both the silver and the black, but they are located in close proximity (both geographically and economically) to the factory and the principle distributer.

Well i just ordered from gearbest. Now the waiting begins, and the hunt for 2 sets of batteries for it. What would you guys recommend is best for this? I'm looking at samsung 25rs as i can get 2 paris for $30, thinking about pulling the trigger on them.

I think too many people take info from unaffiliated 3rd party resellers and then act like it came from Pioneer4You.

To the best of my knowledge these are the ONLY pictures of "black ones" that Pioneer4You has released. They are certainly the only pictures out there that carries the Pioneer4You watermark on the image and are called "black ones" by an actual Pioneer4You rep.

So I just talked to my vendor. There's good news and bad news. Good news: the IPv4 is definitely shipping out this week. The bad news: Each vendor is only receiving 50 units. With more units shipping out the following week.

Wow. Talk about a disappointment. I really hope you guys preordered quickly

I'm not entirely sure why anyone would want to knock up a fake picture of an email from P4U stating the colour of the black IPV4 but feel free.

Because they are selling a unit based on a photoshopped picture created by Asmodus that shows it's all black, telling customers that it's all black, and they could have a lot of cancelled orders and refunds if it's not all black.

I don't see why Pioneer4You would tell resellers in an email that it's all black and then post a picture of a silver unit with a black battery cover and call it a black unit on their own Facebook page. As I said before, the picture I posted and the others in the link I gave are the ONLY pictures of a "black" IPV4 that have come straight from Pioneer4You. I'll take their word over any claims made by any reseller.

BTW, I don't suppose you could post a few of these "bunch of pictures of emails" so I can cross reference the Pioneer4You rep, could you?
