I understand I am being harsh on the ipv4 but I guess the Vaporshark and Vaporflask ruined me and now the SX Mini will. For a entry level TC mod that you can take around just for TC I am sure most people will be happy. I guess for $75 you can't compare it to a $200 mod like a SX Mini or Vaporshark. If most of the people who have this mod are happy and it fits their needs then that is all that matters. For the money it is a decent mod for the price and it does have dual batteries and 100w. It has a few upsides to it

Those "upsides" are precisely the reason for this thing. I own an rDNA40 and SX Mini too...and I don't expect a $65 (what I paid) device to be of comparable quality. Dual removable Batts/100W/TC for iStick 50 prices is fine by me...I can accept that build quality won't be great under those circumstances.

for me, my go to tc build has always been an authentic hobo with a single coil. i don't know how well the clones are made but the grub screw + post on the authentics are very good for making solid connections on nickel builds. just got my Ti wire today, bout to throw that on the subtank mini and see how it goes.

The infinite clone is the same, grub screws. I did a lot of research before buying the Hobo clone and chose Infinite because it's as close to 1:1 you can get. What resistance are you running on a single nic coil? Have you tried dual?

11 wraps with 28ga and 2.5mm ID usually gets me around .13 I haven't tried duals cuz it would take a lot of wraps lol. Will prolly try it with Ti wire though.

Looks like everyone has bled W&V dry lol, to bad VapeNW couldn't take care of they're paying customers. Hope all you who ordered from W&V get your iPV4's soon.

haha, I know huh?

4 people ordered from W&V, I believe 3 were people upset with VapeNW inability to do something as simple as ship them a different color of an in stock item...definitely shocking how that was asking too much of a vendor.

Anyways, my W&V IPV4 has been received at a Hawthorne, CA USPS facility, and since I live in Sacto, CA, it shouldn't be too long at all now.

Glad those of us VapeNW refused to help were able to so easily find a place that had them in stock, and for slightly less (a little bit more for those who aren't subject to CA tax), and who were also quick to ship out our orders.

Cheers!!!

EDIT: oh damn, I see what you meant, it's on Pre-Order now through them, we must have snagged their remaining stock, lol

Canceled my order with VapeNW tonight also. In the business world you just can't wish a problem away. I just looked at the lack of any updates and the fact that I placed my order last Friday and concluded that I'm so far down the list that it would be weeks before I sniffed an ipv4 from these folks. You can't use my $$$ interest free without some information flow on what the hell is going on.

Just curious how long it took for the refund to go through????

It should go through before noon tomorrow. I messaged them after business hours last night and sometime this morning got the email back confirming.

Man, this nickel is fragile. I need to get grub screws...I ruined 3 wraps cause of the leads breaking right off the post while adjusting on my meter. You definitely need to handle nickel with care lol
I finally got a single coil build 28g 9 wraps @ .142 on my Troll. It's hitting like a champ! I can also see how people say you can get slight hints of flavor from nickel that you don't get off kanthal.

A lil off topic but the Atlantis nickel coils are performing beautifully as well in my FreeMax Starre tank. iPV4 is doing it's job...Can't go wrong with this mod in this price range IMO.

Try wrapping the nickel underneath the screw top and trap it there. i have had same issue, and this seems to work better. Glad your enjoying the Vapershark Atlantis nickel coils, I ordered me a set last night hope they make it to me by saturday.
