Try wrapping the nickel underneath the screw top and trap it there. i have had same issue, and this seems to work better. Glad your enjoying the Vapershark Atlantis nickel coils, I ordered me a set last night hope they make it to me by saturday.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try that out on my next build. I ordered the coils last Sunday and they created a label Monday and shipped on Tuesday. I just received them today. I couldn't believe how slow the USPS was from FL to NY. I believe it said 1-4 business days but I should've had these the latest, this past Saturday. I hope you have better luck!

Gearbest finally refunded my order. I had to elevate to PayPal claim and low and behold they refunded just 30 minutes later after going back and forth since last Thursday.

A question I noticed that at .07 ohms in TC mode my ipv4 is hitting at 3 volts. If the ohm calculator is correct this is 120 watts. Not sure what to make of that since the box technically is listed as max 100 watts.

Had the opportunity to deal with wakeandvape's customer service, and I've got to say I was pleasantly surprised. Ashley responded to my inquiry quickly, and despite it being a crazy day shipping 200+ units she was able to quickly answer my question and resolve the issue I had.

I'm extremely pleased with the service from wakeandvape and would highly recommend them in the future.

They must of been getting complaints, as my refund only too 24 hours, but I did message support twice to make sure they was refunding.

For those having "issues" with their iPV4 pre-ordered items to be shipped to them, here's a few suggestions for the future:

    1. Anytime ANYTHING is a "pre-order" status you will run the risk of perhaps not receiving the product due to unusual high order volume. Caveat Emptor.
    2. Pioneer4You has dilly-dallyed around the release date on this product for months! No one here anticipated that, but quite a few had already pre-ordered.
    3. The sheer volume of pre-orders was probably quite high.
    4. IF you're having issues with the vendor, then CALL them. Be courteous yet firm. Nine times out of ten when voicing a complaint if the
customer is courteous yet firm the issue will be resolved. Email communication is many times not a good way to deal with an issue such as this.
    5. Early adoption is always a risk regardless of the product.
    6. It doesn't matter which vendor has them because they're all running out or low on this product. It's time for Pioneer4You to step up the production. Yihi did them a dis-service because they didn't release the chipset whilst promoting their own SX Mini-M MOD. Which allowed Yihi to gain a portion of the market share.

Personally, I'm waiting for another month for all of this to settle down and read more user reviews here and view them on YouTube.
I have my Kangxin Vapor Flask V3 to hold me over until then. NO I never had any shipping issues with that either.

For those discussing what nickel wire and coil builds etc., there are other threads to discuss those issues. Try to keep this thread on point please; it's about the iPV4 pre-order status and issues. Not about coils, wire, resistance, etc. Just use the "SEARCH" box in the upper-right corner and you'll find numerous threads about nickel wire, TC coils, etc.

    Thank You!

    Are you liking your iPV4?
It will be upgradable to 120 watts in a update soon.
Hey thanks lets hope so, They updated the order this morning to shipped. So I doubt it will be here by saturday more then likely Monday. I am excited to try those nickel coils out. I hear they also fit the Vapeston Maganus, Freemax Starre and the Herakles. pretty much any sub ohm tank that accepts Atlantis coils will work.

When a pre-ordered item doesn't arrive by the estimated date, I feel it's the vendor's responsibility, regardless of the manufacturer's shortfalls or anything else, to inform those who have ordered about the status of their order and when the new estimated arrival date is. If the vendor can't be bothered, they shouldn't be selling a pre-order, which is the whole reason I had an issue with VapeNW. When I asked about the black, if they had told me there was a delay and the new estimated arrival date was June 1, I would have waited. Instead, they would rather respond with fluff and lose a sale in the process.

This is very spot on. It was the total lack of any information that was the deal breaker. I'm not expecting the vendor to send an e-mail to everyone waiting a preorder. But you have a web site and social media. It may take two minutes to put an update on Facebook or Twitter. Just let your customers know what's happening. Saying nothing and letting people wonder what's going on builds bad feelings. Just a quick note from the vendor would have done wonders.

I had a project go in the crapper several years back....and the fact that I was on top of it built more goodwill with that customer than I could have ever imagined.

VapeNW had their shipment expected on 5/4...after saying they had a shipment sent out on
4/28. My perception was this would cover remaining preorders. It's now the 6th and nothing has changed on the web site or social media in days. Inquiries are not answered....so what are the customers to think???

A small blurb on Facebook..."sorry guys, the shipment is short x units...we'll have more in x days...those who ordered before x day will be shipped put today. Those after x day will be notified with a new ship date". That took me less than a minute to write.

    Amen to that.

I can deal with the manufacturer fannying about but it takes a matter of seconds for a vendor to type up a sentence on their site/social media to let people know what's going on.

I sent VapeNW an email to see if I could change the color from the black to the silver because of the longer wait for the black. They said they couldn't do it. Hmmm. I was going to cancel my order but I'll just wait for now see what happens.

If it's in stock, there shouldn't be a problem. That's what I just don't understand.
