I have no issues with nickel builds running colder or wimpier than kanthal.
What kind of Kanthal build are you most accustomed to though? I said that based on what I'm accustomed to - .3ish with 24ga at around 4.2-4.4v. A very warm vape on a derringer rda. My brother tried that build and almost choked to death lol. I let him try my .09 30ga build at 40J/450 degrees and he lung hit it no problem.I have no issues with nickel builds running colder or wimpier than kanthal.
Yup! I'll keep playing with TC, on my Hobo or something. It's not bad by any means - just very different lol.well P.b. that's a plus, cause the IPV4 is a heck of high wattage device for kanthal also, sorta like killing 2 birds w/one stone and if you ever want to go back to T.C. you have the option, win-win situation![]()

Personally, I like super warm vapes because that's when I really start to get the good flavor. Not sure if anyone else is like that or not. And, IMO, from what I've seen in my few trials, dry cotton starts to brown at 420 degrees - so turning it up to 500 degrees seems semi counterproductive to me. I know TP has its place for some people, and I knew going into it that it wasn't going to be really hot and dense, but I was just curious to see everyone else's thoughts on it!![]()
Not really, no. Except my 28ga is just totally off. And by like 4 wraps worth of resistance lol. According to the vendor, it's behaving like 27ga. Other than my wire being quite off, all of my readings match, IPv4, my 2 ohm readers and my ipv3 (used just to read the resistance for that odd 28ga ni200.)Hey guys, are your Ni200 builds reading the same on the iPV4 as they do on your ohm meter or dna40 mods when you do a set resistance at room temp...mine are running about .05 ohm lower on the iPV4.
I wonder how many orders VapeNW lost from their shoddy customer service. This is like the 6th or 7th in this thread alone, mostly because "their system" can't switch a preorder to an in-stock Silver, lolWell my journey for the ipv4 is over.. Preordered from VapeNW black version. Sent a email on the 2nd day asking for a silver one. 3days passed no reply, sent another email assuming it got over looked. 6Days later asked for a refund no reply. Spam called when I had time over 2 days here and there no answer. Called the next afternoon and someone picked up right away(at this point all there preorders went sent out and they had silver in stock). Asked nicely If i could change my order from black to silver "I'm sorry are system don't work like that" asked for a refund. Waited 3days for the refund to process on my debit card. Ordered a silver one from vaporrange it got here 3days later... Eh.
I really can't be leave there customer service. Probably worst I've seen with any company in 30yr's. Part that really gets me is having to spam call them for 2days + the one when they finally answered. Sure them not answering my 3 emails over 11 days don't help either. Can't say for certain if they have a warehouse or not but there phone number is to there to vape shop in a plaza(google earth). I know vape shops can get busy but that busy constantly over say 6hr's in 2 days? They wont see my business or friends etc. Rage mode off~.I wonder how many orders VapeNW lost from their shoddy customer service. Either way, it's still unacceptableI think it is only down to the IPV4 they have got crap with their customer service, I originally had the IPV4 on pre-order with them back in March, and I emailed them and asked to cancel, they responded within 3 hours and had my refund issued no problem. I think they have got sick of the IPV4 release problems themselves and the frustration is being passed onto the customers.

Haha, that's like my "selective hearing" when I don't care for, or am annoyed, by what someone is sayingAbsolutely - and that's a decent measure of good customer service. It's easy to be quick and responsive when things are straightforward, it's when there's more work and hassle involved that one can tell if service is actually reliable or not. And from the sounds of it, that's what's exposed VapeNW as being less than reliable.
We might say they're providing "fair weather service"!![]()
