Is 76 cents a ML over charge?

I hear the general rule is anything over 50 cents a ML is rip off city. There is a site that I like a lot (I won't mention who it is lol) but they start off at 99 cents per ML for their lowest bottle size which is 5ML and then the price reduces to 76 cents per ML with their highest size of 30ML. So obviously the more you buy the less you pay per ML but still...the ending result is still over a quarter higher than what people say you should be paying for.

Thoughts? Should it always be 50 cents and under no matter what the quantity is or should those prices only be for larger quantity amounts?

Generally, yes. However it does depend on the juice. Certain juices use certain flavorings that are harder to get and end up being more expensive. I never pay over 15 dollars for 30ml though. Just seems like a rip-off whenever I do. I got into vaping to save money. Sure, it became more than that but I gotta remember my roots: A cheap ...!

Yep, 76 cents/ml is pretty strong. Price per ml is not an indicator that it's a good juice. But if you like that juice and it's worth it to you it's not a ripoff. I do some DIY so my juice costs are coming down quickly. But I love some juices that I can't replicate, so I still order them. When we do reviews like "WOW this juice is the best EVER!" and the vendors get slammed with orders, it should be no surprise that the vendors can charge whatever they want to. And as DietSalem said, some flavorings are very expensive. If you buy from some company that uses a high quality base and expensive flavorings, get ready to pay a lot for it.

Or learn to DIY.

OUCH. I did the math and it almost blew me over. There are a few out there that might be worth that but far and few in-between. I'd say if you really really really want to buy from them and it's the first time get 2 small samples max to make sure they're worth it.

An expensive juice I remember getting a while back... Nhaler Lung Juice... I'm not sure if it really helped my lungs or not. I will say the sleepy time green time was very relaxing and mellow tasting. I still have it lingering somewhere using it like caviar.... at (almost) $1 a ML ya... that stuff isn't getting carelessly dripped.

.76/ml is absolutely above average. my guess is that you could find a similar juice for a better price. but like everyone said, if you love it, its worth it.

my most expensive juice is 19.99/30mL but id hate to go higher than that. that is already too high IMO. but not too high where i wont buy it. im just not buying a LOT of it.

So you would never pay let's say 22.95 for 30ML? LOL!

Well it depends on how much money you have to spend....people are fine with wal mart jeans for $15 but there are people who pay a couple hundo and up for designer jeans.....wine....perfume etc.

The op didn't say anything about a budget juice just sounded like dayvid didn't want to be throwing away money needlessly...

or maybe he's gonna start selling his juice and wants to secretly know what the max we would pay for good juice is lol

I would never wear Walmart jeans lmao...but I'll wear Old Navy!

I'm not trying to be cheap when it comes to buying juices but I see where a lot of other vendors are charging like 15 bucks tops for 30ML....which is really good, and I've been paying upwards of 20-23 bucks for the same from other vendors so it kinda ticked me off!

I would never try to sell this stuff, honestly I don't know how vendors make any money doing this (even the ones that charger higher than normal rates.) But I guess it's a good thing that I'm a light vapor, cause I don't have to buy juices very often, I maybe vape a couple ML's a week...YES A WEEK, I'm not a heavy user by any means.

cigarettes are over .20 each and a good amount of those go up into the atmosphere. I was spending around 15.00/day on smokes. Plus, nobody bums my vapes from me like they did my cigs. The price of groceries and gasoline is what's a crime. I just save in other ways to offset the cost of some better juices. If you think about it, the extra cost could easily be recovered with money one typically pisses away on other things day-to-day. I haven't spent a lot of money on mods. I get the mod thing, what works and what doesn't and the overkill associated with such. So, with the hundreds of dollars I have saved, saving me from myself in that area, I have room to treat myself with some better liquid and other consumables.

The commercial juice I like is 23 to 25 cents per ml; I just DIY-ed some very good 24mg tobacco flavors for 16 cents per ml. Those figures include shipping....everything. The stuff the wife likes runs 31 cents/ml, but she's tasted my DIY stuff and says it's almost as good and she can vape it.

if youre vaping only a few ML a WEEK, $0.76/ML is not an "overcharge" at all; meaning you could pay twice that and still never see a significant spendature. its all relative IMO. it sounds like you vape about a dollar or two worth of juice a week. some people go through a few bucks worth of juice before NOON. even if your DIYing, your vape speed will ultimately determine the price of your habit, not your $/ML.

this is the reason why i dont make a banner in my signature. i was never a heavy smoker (IMO). i only bought approx 2 packs per week (maybe 3 if i bummed a lot out or if i got drunker than usual lol). my savings banner would be pitiful. i get amazed when i see how much money most folks here have spent/saved on cigs. then again, i always tried not to smoke. i always wanted to quit, but going cold turkey is much too difficult. weaning yourself down is the answer.

I love a juice that I have to pay $24 per 30 ml for. I hate the price and am looking for a similar flavor that is cheaper and tastes as good, but for right now I'm paying it. It's worth it to me to have this in my flavors.
