I love my ego t, no problems with leaks like so many report, but I am burning my attys up way to quickly. I think its the chain vaping. Seriously, its non stop. Not for the nic, I just love the vape and the taste. I had to cut the nic down to keep from getting sick.

Next, I tried cartos. Like the vape, but dang! with the constant drip, drip, drip topping off. Again, not a good option for the chain vaper. Even tried those bigger smoketech (I think) cartos, still topping off too much.

I'm really intrigued by E-Turbo Clear Atomizer this little beauty posted by SCTony a few days ago. May have to try it.

What's left? Should I just go straight to a tank now? I'm a bit uncertain about it, because I don't know how the tank would hold up in my pocket, which is where at least one pv stays 99.9% of the time.

I know I'm not ready for some big ole box mod... yet. ;)

I have carried big tanks in my pocket with good success, although depending on the pants I might not have the best flexibility...

I also know that some of my tanks are prone to sliding up and down while others are quite sturdy, so I think it will depend on the tank.

Regarding the E-Turbo Clear, I haven't heard from many people about them. What I have heard is that they work well, but if you disturb the tip much they will leak though the battery connection end. The reviewer demonstrated this just by wiggling the tip. With that, I'm not sure if they are the rugged solution you're looking for. However, I can't say from direct experience, so maybe they are what you're looking for.

tanks are heavy and bulky, so if you have ego type devices i'm not sure of the balance there.
Tanks do keep your carto just right and are pretty versatile; you can get tubes to fit just about any cartomizer (and resistance).
That E Turbo looks interesting... let us know how you like them; first i've seen of 'em.

stupid reply system keeps deleting my comments...

Anyway i have used these and they work great on a stock 3.4-3.7v battery, don't leak and have great vapor and taste. Unfortunately they are out of stock right now, but for me they are worth the wait. There is a bit of a learning curve to cleaning them but its pretty easy and they can last a LONG time with cleaning and dry burning.
VISION Stone Tank Mod : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

These I havent tried yet but apparently they dont leak and fit the EGO battery very well, they are getting great reviews so Im gonna be getting them when they are in stock.
GotVapes VISION eGo Stardust 1.4ml Top Coil Carto 2.5-2.7 ohm [gv-visionstardust-2.5] - $7.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

look around GotVapes. While we are waiting for everyone to get in more visions stardust or whatever other name they are being given, they have a lot of clearomizer type stuff. I have one of these babies too and they are good but I'm vaping them at higher volts than an ego RIVA-T TANK - $4.99 : Cropduster901!, Home of the B-52
They aren't the same as those old giantomizers that I didn't like. As I said though, 3.0 ohms works well at 3.7-4.2v. An ego might be a little underpowered but that's just me.

I would start trying stuff that has a clear shell. If you are chain-vaping it lets you keep an eye on fluid level.

I say go for a tank. I like the Jtank. Its sturdy, doesnt leak and fits normal sized cartos. I too did not like topping off cartos and my attys burned out after a couple days. I like cartos way better, they are in my opinion less maintenance and you get nice flavor and vapor. You can re-fill the tank pretty easy on the go...the only time I would suggest a syringe is on the first fill. I find that the cartos last a week or two before the filament gets gross and the draw becomes poor... but hey..they are only a couple bucks a piece. Way better than 2 days on an atty that costs 8 or so bucks a pop. If you do decide on a tank I suggest not punching holes. Get a dremel and cut the cart (this is what I like, not what everyone likes).
Good luck!

Ah, so many options so little cash. It's a good thing I started DIYing my juice. I will need the money I save for testing parts. LOL

That stone tank looks very interesting, as does the stardust (like the one I posted) and the vornado. The vornado looks cheaper made than the stardust but at almost the same price but sometimes looks can be deceiving. With all of this stuff being sold out so quickly I guess we will have to see some reviews start rolling in soon.

Charlz- How does that Riva tank work? Do you just squirt the juice and go like these others? I hate that they don't put more info on the web sites. We're not all vetrans, ya know. LOL

I want to try at least some of these before going to a tank/carto combo- it just seems like less hassle.Hopefully they will get some in soon. :)

Firstly that e-turbo clear atomizer only holds 1.2ml, so it will need filling as much as the ego-t tanks. Secondly i don't know what carto's you are talking about, probably boge? that need topping up so often? I use echo-e cartomizers which hold 3ml of juice, i also chain vape and i only fill once each day. Have you seen the XXXXL cartos available? They hold 4mls of juice, no need for a tank at all with them!

The atomizer you linked to is made by a Chinese company called "Top Green" E-Cigarette,Electronic Cigarette,Health Cigarette Manufacturer,Supplier,Factory - Shenzhen Topgreen Industrial Co.,Ltd.

IIRC, it is the Chinese New Year right now, so everyone is out of stock on them and probably will remain so until early to mid Feb.

If you want a tank NOW, I'd say get the J-Tank from ElectronicStix.Com Your Premier Vaping Vendor Since 2008 and some Boge cartomizers.

I'm fairly new to vaping and already tired of topping off or afraid I'll let the carto get too dry and burn it. Been thinking about a tank but wasn't sure if it was right for me. I have a Riva 510SE 650mah. Would this tank be appropriate for that battery? I like the looks of the tank since my battery is slightly bigger in diameter - would probably look better than just a regular carto w/o the cone.

yep...it works well in the Riva. You need a syringe to fill it. theres a hole off to the side that you just poke a syringe into and fill er up. 2mls lasts awhile and you can see when you are running low

Any suggestions for a tank that's available now? I'm considering one from madvapes but I don't know if I want Dual Coil. Will that work on my ego/epower? Or should I look for a tank that doesn't require the flanged cartos?

edit: just read about flipping the end caps to use non-proprietary cartos. nice!
