IMHO; yes it worth it. ecig.com currently has a killer deal on them, discount appears once in your cart. This my first purchase from them, so don't know much about them. But at under $20.00 for another istick, shot I blow more than that on a night out.
You might want to see this before you order from them. Top 74 Complaints and Reviews about ...........

That's a different site. One is e-cig and the other is ecig.com. Not sure about either of them but those complaints were for a different site

I love my Istick from evape.us. Came with ego converter, cable and plug. Love it so much I bought 2 more for friends. The pbusardo review is spot on and like stated in the testing under a load it fires at 4v when set at 3v with let's say a 1.6ohm coil. Don't care, still love it. My mvp2 now sits there as a holder for my other nautilus mini tank.

PBusardo has a pretty complete review on the iStick. It is located here:

A PBusardo Review & Contest - The Eleaf iStick - YouTube

Although moving up to a VV/VW design is a step...up, I would consider others. The MVP2 is very well regarded and pretty hardy in construction. Look at the review and look at other reviews on YouTube.

Hope helps.

EDIT: I didn't see the previous link, just the label. Anyway, it is a review.

It has several advantages, even compared to a spinner/twist.

1) More power. This means more vapor, and more throat hit. Spinners go up to 4.8 volts, the istick is capable of 5.5volts.

2) Variable wattage. Wattage is what really determines how quickly your coils heat up. 10 watts is 10 watts, whether on a 1.8 or 2.2 ohm coil. The same is not true for 4 volts. You can vape any atomizer you own at 10 watts without making any adjustments.

3) Larger battery capacity. The istick is 2200mAh I believe, while I don't know that I've seen authentic stick batteries above 1300 mAh, slightly more than half the capacity of the istick. Less charging, more vaping.

4) Built in pass-through. Can be charged while vaping. Stick batteries usually have this as an option, but the istick has it standard.

5) Aesthetics. 22mm wide devices look fine on the istick, and just plain goofy on a stick battery. Not to mention, it will be far shorter than a 1300 mAh twist, no matter what topper you're using.

The day may come when you want to move onto rebuildable atomizers. The istick will happily power these atomizers, while a stick battery can, but not well. Which brings me to my last point:

7) Can measure ohms, and fire down to 1ohm.

ETA: I didn't even mention the price differential; there practically isn't one! You get all of the above at approximately the same cost as a twist. The istick can keep you happy if you advance up the vape ladder. A twist will make you happier than a fixed voltage ego, and that's about it, IMO.

MVP2 does the same and in better quality. I tossed my iStick, volts don't follow the Watts and it fires in pulses where the MVP2 has consistent power like higher level MODs.

Although I have almost all of Innokins itaste products, and am a big fan, the MVP2 is larger in all dimensions, cost about twice as much, and has about half the power. Of the two, the MVP2 is undoubtedly the better build, quality wise. But moving up to the eleaf istick from an ego-c is a huge jump at little expense. Also, IMO, the inaccuracy of the power is of no consequence to an ego-c user. For simple vaping, with a small tank, such as a Nautilus mini or even an ego-c type clearamizer , I don't think you can beat it. Especially for the money!

Hey, they only asked about the advantages of the an istick compared to a ego/spinner/twist, not the disadvantages compared to an MVP :p
