I got 2 Provari's, one in Dec '10, the first run... and one a little later; after not liking the other smart pv on the market.
THey are both getting a full day each of constant vaping; I use each for different flavors ... no noalox, no issues nada.!
I go through a good 6 to 10ml a day.
My favorite is dripping ... on a reg. dse 901 atty (2.8 - 3.0 Ohm) at 3.7 to 4.8 volts (as the atty wears the resistance goes up).
I have a Pila charger and rotate 5 18650's, with a change required (for 2 vari's) a day. Yep I use the heck out of them, and never a problem.
Dripper's paradise here.

Order one you won't regret it!

I wouldn't let this thread scare you into waiting to buy one.

If there was any kind of a major problem with the ProVari this thread would be huge.

From what I have read on ECF here I would have to say, compared to the number of ProVari's that are out there, there has only been a very small number of people that have had any kind of an issue with their ProVari. I can also add that I feel very confident that if I ever should have an issue with my ProVari that ProVape will resolve it and resolve it as fast as possible.

So are the new springs available for sale on the site? I looked and didn't see them, but no one ever accused me of being perfect, so I might have missed them.

I'm not necessarily worried about battery life, but I did lose a spring out of one of my endcaps. Not a huge burden, since I have three springs remaining, but I like symmetry. The missing spring preys on my mind.

Symmetry is good :)

Yes they are on the site in the provari section

Just wanted to say thanks for sending me one of the new springs...

Ironically I was looking at the endcap on my provari yesterday, and I popped out the spring. When I popped the spring back in, it didn't quite seat perfectly, so I pressed it in again. After that, I haven't had the false low battery a single time since...That was about 6pm yesterday, and I am still using the same battery at almost 8pm today.

In response to the OP, yes I am. I just unscrew the endcap partially and screw it back on. A forced re-boot if you will. Lots of things in my life have microprocessors. Most are susceptible to static and/or grounding issues. I call it loosing it's mind. Easy enough to reset, and this almost always solves the problem. JMHO

Cheers,

FWIW...i still have both of my provari's and i rotate 5 AW IMR's and still get the false "low battery" on both provari's with all 5 batteries. I occasionaly use a pair of trustfires and a AW IC...same issue.

MonsterKenney is going to send me springs when they get back in stock.....im hoping it will solve the issue

So I purchased my provari + extension cap on 5/28. Should I order some of those springs on the site for the hell of it because they are in fact better? At around 3.7-3.8 my Provari is starting to flash LED, but then proceeds to shutoff entirely instead of running to 3.3 while blinking. I had originally had the LED flashing early but still run until 3.3, after cleaning that was fixed, but now this is happening

Is this a different / fatter spring than the original ?

Maybe this has been asked before I'm not sure but, is there a resistance difference between this new spring and the older original spring ???

Again I have to ask this question to any Provape representative ( Provape 360, Monster Kenny ) would either of you guys be kind enough to let me know = does this "New Spring" have a different resistance than the original spring ?

ProVape -- is it different material? Is it all of the above?

Yes, The new spring has a lower resistance and its made of silver coated copper. Its also a little thicker gauge wire.
