And unfortunately that philosophy was they wanted a 4/chan style of board with no moderation and little, if any, rules. Which had the effect of driving a lot of the senior members and contributors away from both communities. They verbally abuse people all the time there, and come in here to troll constantly. They actually have a forum where one can brag about "Being Amongst The Band" like it was some sort of "battle scar" to show off proudly.

Not something I'd personally want to get involved with anymore. When I view the stats of both sites, I see this place always has over 700 people online in any given time. VF has maybe 30-40 at any given time. If we're going to win the hearts and minds of fools like Banzhalf or organizations like the FDA, I would much rather them seeing the community in the light of ECF which runs a tight ship, rather than a board which posts and talks about boobies all the time.

I think you can see where I'm going at here. ;)

And you won't get anything "less from me" because I tell it like it is.

Now go back to VF and let them know how much of the Master of the Universe you were here. Thank you for your input.

No, I didn't go over there and say a thing about my post here, nor will I and you may check if you like. Like I said, you are living in the past. That was the point of my original post. The forum wars are long over, you should really get over it.

I was going to say something similar. Most people on VF couldn't care less about ECF and are perfectly happy where they are. There is plenty of room in the world for lots of e-cigarettes forums.

The important thing is that CASAA, NVC and other organizations, while still having their own agendas, haven't let any perceived rivalry between forums keep them from working together when needed to further the cause. All of the organizations have members who are members on multiple forums and the communication between organizations is there. While there can be occasional bumping of heads and petty bickering, most of us in e-cigarette advocacy still somehow manage to remember that the cause is what is most important.

I saw the NY Senate video yesterday, they all did a great job. The appeared to all be a united front when it matters. Looks like yea when it comes down to it they do put their differences aside and fight the fight.

Yeah, I think they did a good job too. But the question is, when will we see the effects of this hearing?
