I can't make it for as cheap as I can buy it from e-liquid.cn. About $50 for 1200 mls.
I can make my e-liquid for less than $.04 per ml., with american products. But I can't see that anyone would only spend $50 on this site for 1200mls. BUT, maybe I ran away to quick when I saw that it was a MICROCIG site.

whats a microcig site? For me I can't imagine buying 1200ml anyhow..that why I'm going to try DIY so I can experiment with multiple flavors. It is pretty crazy the prices there....

Microcig, MIT [ MICROCIG INNOVATION TECHNOLOGY]. With more than 6 years of experience, yet, i buy 5 of their ce4 and not only cant they hold liquid but the one i tear apart has the wicks covered with what looks like glue. I will do my best to avoid buying their products.

At first don't worry about nic just get yourself a bottle of VG and a little flavor this can be had from places like wizzard labs for less than 10 bucks if you only get a flavor or two. Invest in a couple of syringes a 10ml and a 1ml to use the 10 mil for the VG and the 1ml for the flavor. Start around 5% flavor adjust as needed shake well drop in atomizer and smile........

I'm rather new to all of this and this is my first post...

After successfully ditching analogs over a month ago, I decided to try my hand at DIY. Placed an order for PG, VG and nic liquid and sat back and waited.... for weeks. I guess I chose the wrong company but I won't go into that.

Today I ordered again from different companies. I chose Wizard Labs for my nic liquid and found a really good deal at Essential Depot for PG and VG - $48.06 for both in one gallon sizes - and after shipping, the total bill is still $48.06. Apparently there's a coupon code as well but being new, I discovered that a little too late.

Anyway, as I've been lurking for a while and thought it about time I shared something.

The only downside with DIY for me is finding the time to vape all the flavors I want to try. I started DIY'ing my own tanks so that I can have one for each flavor. you can see the process to make your own tanks here

Thanks, you must have read my mind. Only 59 days smoke free but already diy juice and shortly going to try replacing coil and wick on Visionecigars clearomizers. I like the idea of making our own tanks also; just might give it a try. It might even hold liquid.

I agree, finding time to vape or even mix all the flavors I want to DIY can be a challenge. I have a bunch sitting and waiting for me to mix them now.

BWhare- welcome! Myfreedomsmokes is another good site for DIY supplies. Quality product, fast shipping, good prices, frequent sales.

JUDGMENT- Yeah, holding liquid would be an admirable quality in a tank!

I've been thinking about tanks too. What I'd like to find is a source of pyrex glass - suitable proportions of course. The pyrex tanks I've seen are really pricey, some with very good reason, but it's just glass and as I wasn't planning on a work of art, it should be possible to do it with little out-of-pocket expense.

I've made some small batches and deem 1 an absolute winner and 2 acceptable and will continue to refine. The problem is the tobacco I want. Have 3 different flavor of tobacco and I am convinced there is no way to get this stuff to taste remotely good. I have read most tobaccos need to steep for a while but I am not convinced its going to help much, The smell in the bottle is good but the after TH taste is an assault on your senses! Will see how it is in a week. They all are TFA from Wizard and are very perfumey until you dress them up. There has to be a good tobacco base out there but can't find any recommendations. V4L nailed it with their Wow kamel whatever they use its great.

Now my peppermint is a real winner!

The cheapest place to get your nicotine solution: Wizard Labs myfreedomsmokes is WAY more money.

The cheapest place to get your PG: Walmart/pharmacy section/first aid/look around (that's a joke it's not a URL). It's called Glycerin and it's USP - the same stuff they sell online for way more. $3 a bottle. 177ml.

The best Ejuice Calculator: Ejuicemeup. Google it - it's free.

That's not PG it's VG. PG can be purchased at tractor supply stores and such, but usually only in large quantity, and I prefer that my stuff is fresh.

I have not tried the drug store VG, but many people say then can tell a difference in the quality.

Fun and creative.

One you have a recipe down, you have it down and don't have to worry about the company making it wrong or not making it at all.

I can be cheaper if you are making quality juice and shop well for your supplies.

Cons:

It takes more time.

You can make duds.

Extra super plus. You can do like me and spend a couple hundred bucks and be set for years no matter what happens regarding the laws and it's way cheap when you buy it that way. Not kidding, I haven't bought a thing in over a year and I have years worth of supplies left. Maybe even a decade if my storage system works as good as I think it will. I bought a gallon on PG, VG and 48 juice as well as a gallon of various flavorings (48 flavors in all) I make my friends juice anytime they need it as well. They barter with me, beer or homemade bread or a pie or some veggies etc.
