Always nice to be reminded of what "natural" and even organic can mean. Thank you ever so much, Underwhelmed.
I am always skeptical about the use of "natural" and "organic" when used in marketing.

There is no standard for the use of "natural" in food items and unless something is "Certified Organic" it doesn't really mean anything either.

Last I checked arsenic and crude oil are both "natural" and "organic", but I don't want to eat, drink or vape either of them.

I was really just looking to bolster the OP's post and post an example of why you should consider asking if your products are cruelty free even if you aren't a vegan as even products you would think don't contain any animal products often still do.

I'm not vegan myself (I'm more of a vegetarian currently), but I do understand the mindset and that this is a serious consideration for vegans.

It seems from past threads that plenty of people here like to mock the OP's views and concerns just because they don't share them and that seems like a juvenile thing to do to me.

We don't have to all agree, but why post just to ridicule or flame. If it isn't important to you, just move on.

I am a vegetarian, I have been since I was ten years old....and an animal rights advocate. I only vape menthol...so someone please tell me that whatever was in those links (YUCK!!!!) isn't in my vape or I seriously will cry :'(

PG= Produced from propylene oxide, which is produced from propylene, which is a byproduct of vegetation and fermentation processes.
VG= Byproduct of production of biodeisel(from vegetable sources)
Nicotine= Tobacco
Menthol= derived from mint oils

I think you are okay. I vape unflavored with menthol myself. I'm not vegan/vegetarian, but I do like that I'm keeping the number of weird stuffs to an absolute minimum.

Nah, you're good. It's regarding raspberry and strawberry flavoring....which technically speaking...even if you were to consume these flavorings in your vape it doesn't have any meat or dairy but more of a....how shall I say this???....by product (?) of what a animal produces after THEY eat.

:DOh you guys just made my day!! After seeing those links (oh God, I wish I hadn't LOL!!) I was worried...I have been a vegetarian almost my entire life and the idea of vaping an animal thing made me cringe, and I do NOT want to have anything right now that would send me off smoking :( You guys rule - I will always stick with menthol, I am just not interested in flavors :) So I am not scared anymore - thank you!

I'm not fussed either by those links.

I'm afraid to say that no one will ever live a 100% Vegan lifestyle.

The world we live in is full of predators and prey. To some animals we're predators. To other animals we're the prey.

At the risk of starting a war. I don't care if my ELiquid contains animal by-products. It's stopping me from using the much more harmful Analogues. That's what matters to me.

Survival of the fittest.

Oh god... That's disgusting, and I'm not vegan.

Other people reading this thread: Do NOT click that link and scroll up to read where castoreum comes from. Accept that it's a "not fruit" chemical, and move on.

And for all of us ex-smokers:
Castoreum is also used to contribute to the flavor and odor of cigarettes.

Folks paying - voluntarily - upto 700 bucks per kilogram for this :

Kopi Luwak

Anything else bothering you about the origin or your favourite flavour ? ;)

And to make matters worse : Statistiacilly, with every breath you're inhaling a certain percentage of air that has been passed through the gastro-intestinal tract of some other creature. In short : You're partially breathing recycled farts...

So again : whats the bother about the flavour ? ;)

Then check this out :

Ambergris

Perfume makers are still paying top dollar for the real thing - for their top-of-the-line products.

So again....

Have a puff, take a whiff :)
