Don't be scared. We Americans are learning the hard way. We could of just learned from history. We people have made of the world what it is and only we can make it better. So I will stop smoking. Looking to convert 30ml of 0% nicotine e-liquid with 10ml of 6% nicotine to 1% -.06% nicotine using sahara flavor 50/50

Good luck!

    Does this help?

Shoot. My simple math sucks today. I'm pretty sure I was wrong before, and this is probably wrong too. You'd be better off waiting for someone with more brain cells than I have today.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You just uncovered part of the answer to your question...

Why are people fooled so easily?

I hope you see it because I can't explicitly explain on this or most other western-based/run forums.

I am not scared of what is "out there."

I am very scared of the fact it happened, and the many are apologists for it.

Yes more people are returning to smoking in an illogical and backwards move but hey, this is how it works.

The election is going to be interesting and y'all better vote, and vote wisely.

Ecigs are not going to be my only issue. I really don't want the Constitution replaced with Mein Kampf.

SO much do I not want that. But ECF and its collective members are here: keep on plugging. Also, don't forget to be happy, no matter WHAT along the way.

Vaping used to require a lot of info to do, how do you do this, how do you do that etc.

These days with so many simple pods and other disposables on the market you just don't need that info anymore, charge and swap pods ezpz

As for me why aren't I on here much anymore? I'm just well comfortable with my setup, I mix my own juice and order supplies for 2 years at a time so talking about juice is straight up out of the question and atomizers I use two and have absolutely no plans on ever changing them, I have 6x Mad Dog RDA's and 4x Dead Rabbit RTA's, I have 100 feet of the fused claptons I like and more cotton than I'll ever need. Mods, I have a nice selection of Mechanicals and regulated mods, no new mods really offer anything new other than looks so meh.

I'm just well happy, I don't need to really look for new things, I remember coming on here and being so damn excited to see and talk about all the new stuff. These days the industry has aged, the market is flooded with a thousand brands/models, back when the Subtank Mini was released that was a game changer, there's no real area to innovate now, pod/mtl stuff out there is fantastic, subohm is just crazy hell the amount of coils in a coil head these days is insanity.

So what do I come here for now? I'll be honest, every once and a while I stop by check out contests, if I win I gift it to a smoker that seems interested in my vape. In the end ECF isn't needed like it once was so while it may seem like it's dying it needs to be here for those moving off of pods, those who are still excited about it.

Nah, there are plenty of people that come here month after month looking specifically for a pod system but need help choosing...there's a lot out there, probably more than tanks and mods lol. And many of them realize they can't rely on info/recommendations from vape shops who are staffed largely with unknowledgeable, low-paid, part-time, warm bodies, just like in all of retail these days.

The pod market isn't as easy-peasy as you say and even pod systems have their quirks such that people need help with them after they do choose and buy one. Youtube video review comments for these pods alone prove that lol.

But I do agree that vape forums are needed for most people who want to switch from a pod to a mod.

I think that one major reason ECF is not as busy as it used to be is simply the format. The forum format is yesterday's tech - it's old-school social media before it was called "social media". Not that I mind that because I prefer it over other formats (it's certainly better than the BBS format lol).

People today prefer the web 3.0 social media format, like FB, twitter, et al. - if for no other reason, just because that's what's "cool".

Yeah. But at least back then there was no global pandemic on top of everything else. People went to work, kids were in school. But yeah, 1968-69, the assassinations, the war...
I was 4 years old back then and honestly don't really remember it. I remember my mom freaking out once when a hippy on a porch suddenly yelled "OOOO a little people." Then ran over to hand me a flower. Mom shoved me in the car so fast I didn't know what hit me. LOL

I do remember my parents shutting the TV off if I was in the room and the news was on.

So yeah this year has been an eye popper for me.

I was born in 1967, so I don't remember much of anything from that time period..

Actually, there was. It's estimated to have killed somewhere between one and four million people world-wide. But the world didn't panic over it:

Geez. I completely forgot about that. But, like you said, nobody panicked...

This bothered me so much that I had to investigate further. It's complicated.

Forgotten Pandemic Offers Contrast to Today’s Coronavirus Lockdowns

"In 1968-70, news outlets devoted cursory attention to the virus while training their lenses
on other events such as the moon landing and the Vietnam War, and the cultural upheaval
of the civil-rights movements, student protests and the sexual revolution."

"Mortality rates for the 1968 pandemic were significantly lower than those of Covid-19,
said Susan Craddock, professor at the Institute for Global Studies of the University of
Minnesota. And without 24-hour news coverage, online resources and social media to
heighten public anxiety, politicians were under less pressure to act than they are today,
    she said."

"Sweden has taken an approach more akin to that used during the Hong Kong flu.
Authorities haven’t ordered stores, restaurants or offices to close, letting the virus spread
through the population. Today, Sweden has among the highest rates of Covid-19 deaths in
the region as a percentage of population."
