There's your problem right there. When I first started, over a year ago, there were many um... older video posters who were very good about telling you what you needed to know, without all of the extra fluff and "entertainment." I'm not sure where they all went, but the popular ones now are about 1/3 promotion, 1/3 show, and 1/3 instruction and review. I really like Todd's reviews, he does do a little promoting, and gives his opinions, but he's not putting on a show.
Yeah.. usually I try to stick to Busardo's, his are very helpful and informative with not quite so much foolishness, though he does interject his opinions; not necessarily a bad thing, since he's obviously very experienced and knowledgable about this stuff, but he went on at some length about the rattling vv3 buttons, which rattling just doesn't signify. And the one about dry-burning, from "New Age Smokers", was also extremely helpful with zero foolishness. But the Tripper link was one that someone gave me about cotton wicks, and as little as I care for videos, I try to at least check out the ones that might have some bearing on what I need to know; I'm still very much a newbie but hopefully not a "noob".
