Ok... so I know suppliers are having a hard time stocking up. BUT... from what I can tell, bulk suppliers haven't raised their prices. So why has the average atomizer at a retailer gone from $8 just a week or so ago to $10 now?

We deal with price gauging enough without it here as well.

The question is rhetorical. I think I've answered it already.

I don't know if I would call it gouging. It is probably to make up for lost revenue due to customs returns and all the other crap that is going on. Shipping is apparently more from the manufacturers because they can't ship through Hong Kong.

It does seem a little suspicious, but I'm not doing any panic buying. We'll see what this brand new business looks like in a month's time. It's pretty "wild west" at the moment. There's always China for smaller orders after all.

Well, I know my friend has an order that will potentially be lost. He placed it before the Canadian "ban". The manufacturer had arrangments with a shipper, shipped it, it was returned to them. They have reshipped it. However, given Canada's current stance if it is inspected it will be returned and I don't think the manufacturer will refund. Even if they do, it will probably be less shipping (which to my understanding isn't exactly cheap).

I wouldn't say the sky is falling, but for some suppliers things are getting more expensive than they used to be.

So its not that vendors are raising prices, its that they are turning to Jerks?

All the startups think they can be like Janty and raise prices without actually fixing something thats broken (like janty did) *seal off the switch/battery from atomizer/carts so it doesnt get any liquid leaking towards the front end, causing damage overtime to the battery/switch*

Now one of them vendors will take this idea but they will just take the usb passthrough and put some tape balled up inside and say *sealed and protected usb passthrough* 39.99 lol
You gotta pay for some assembly line either by hand or machine to output new parts or do the mod for you in bulk, you cant just tape stuff or use glue, then charge us more hahaha! (unless its proven to have advantages like the SD does, this product could be worth the money)

could be simple supply and demand or it could be we are being taken advantage of. could be a lot of things really.

what i do is note who jacked up their prices during a shortage and not buy from them ever again when stability returns, but that's just me.
