Is Itaste MVP2.0 a good upgrade?

My 2 (or 3) cents here:
I've had an MVP2 for two years and basically loved it. Could vape while charging, held a great long charge, fit all my tanks/atomizers fine. I had one issue, for most this is minor: the fire button is very stiff, takes a lot of pressure to push, and I actually got really tired at night using it. I would switch back to egos at night to "rest" my fingers! And no, it never broke in.
I decided I was due for an upgrade/change about a month ago and bought a Vamo V5. And since then the MVP2 has been in storage. I get MUCH better hits/taste off the Vamo on all of my tanks. I also bought a Russian clone, which to be fair, I haven't tested on my MVP. But the combo is SO much better than the MVP w. iClear30 that I haven't bothered. Better taste, bigger hits, and bigger vaper.
I did make one mistake in buying the Vamo: bought it off of eBay with kit. The batteries and charger that come with it are terrible. I've learned the hard way to buy from a trusted online supplier. There are few of those on eBay. For newbies I think it best to steer clear of eBay (e-cig wise) for safety reasons. Also, technically eBay does not "allow" sales of e-cigs, so if you buy and have problems they will not support you...
P.S. Wall adapter for usb can be found at any Walmart/bestbuy or cheaply from eBay.

As noted above, be sure to shop around. I just ordered one, and the prices vary severely. Just make sure it's a reputable shop (use the forum for seller reviews! It's so helpful!). There are some items that I like to buy at my local brick & mortar, but not this. Under $40 online vs $70 at the B&M made the decision very easy.

So true! In the steals and deals thread there is a link for mvps for like 33$. I want to support local but sometimes its hard.. Dn want to pay 2-3x what online retailers are able to profit on.

While I really like my MVP, if I had it to do over again I would get one of the DNA30 (or clone) power devices. If you have plans of taking building further it would be advantageous to start out with a regulated mod that can handle the power needed for RDA's and any build below1Ω, instead of spending the money twice.

That being said, the MVP is a great device for casual vaping, crazy battery life.

Don't know... Its bad enough People starring at me while I vape on my mini zMax with mini aerotank... I can't imagine what would happen if I were cought sucking on a radio look like box??

Why does it matter what they think? You aren't doing it for shock value but to stay off cancer sticks!

I rather have a low profile and keep doing what I do because its a matter of "get noticed and you'll get banned next"... Kinda like 15th century witches burned at the town 's square.

Not sure I follow your logic. The MVP2 is not that big. Also it's not like there is only a few vapers out there

I didn't really like the box look, but have warmed up to it. I have tried much more expensive mods and could probably pick one up when I get a quarterly bonus, but I have come to like the form and function of the MVP. Admittedly, I am a very, very light user, but on a recent trip, my MVP went nearly two weeks without a charge…again, not typical, but it is a very nice piece of equipment. I also really like the safety features.
