Not sure I follow your logic. The MVP2 is not that big. Also it's not like there is only a few vapers out there
Maybe so in the US, but I'm in Portugal so you don't see a lot of them. Saw maybe 3 in two years and I walk pretty much around... I see some at the local vape store but actually vaping... Not a soul

This was my first "upgrade", and I would definitely do it again. Inexpensive (relatively speaking), multi-functional, and .... my two most sought after qualities....DURABLE and CONSISTENT.

There is only one thing I don't like about it; some attys have a longer / protruding base pin / center pin. This can push the center contact down in the MPV v2. You can carefully get it back up, but I wish it had the spring-loaded center pin / contact as does my iTaste 134.

iTaste has a more advanced box mod, similar to the MPV V2, with replaceable battery and the VV/VW functions span a wider range. IIRC that one was $20.00 more than the MPV V2. Can't remember the name of that one...dang...it's tough getting old...

Sounds like the VTR. Uses an 18650, and is VERY heavy!

YES- that is the model. Yeah...the MPV v2 is light, but compared to my iTaste 134...THAT thing is a beast! I pretty much use the 134 exclusively at home.

I use a Kayfun and Taifun tank all the time now..so heavier is better for me; however I use the MPV at work / travel all the time and although it's a little top heavy with the rebuildables on it, it still works great.

Can I charge my mvp 2.0 overnight without over charging it?

Absolutely. I do it all the time- it will automatically "shut down" or shut off when it's charged. For safety sake I put it on a metal stand, but I've had the MPV for about three months now and it has been reliable. I vape like crazy; 320-380 hits/puffs/tokes/pulls:vapor: per day and charge it every night.

In the beginning I'd take the battery all the way down or close to it- it would go about a day and 3/4 for me. I work second shift and the time to recharge wasn't fitting my lifestyle, so I charge it every day. I was mistakenly under the impression that these batteries developed a "memory"- but was told by reliable sources it is not so. (Hey...I'm an old guy and still on the learning curve...)

Yes, no "memory" with LIon chemistry. Charging before shut off voltage is a good thing.

Charging unattended is generally not a desirable option, but if it's done in a fire safe method is probably ok. Up on a non-combustible stand, away from anything that will burn is good, attended or un!

I'm still new.

I'm using a eGo battery (900mAh) with Aerotank mini (dual coils). Both e-liquid and battery life lasts so fast...
And it takes a long time to charge one eGo battery (I have two).

And oh, yes I plan to build coils in the future. I was told that Aerotank mini atty can be re-buildable only if I use an older version of kanger dual coils but I'm having a leakage issue with that. I heard kayfun (rebuildable?) / Aerotank mini will work on MVP2.0. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So, I'd like to upgrade. Is MVP2.0 a good upgrade? Or is there any better one. Thanks in advance.

Lastly, if MVP2.0 is the "best" upgrade, is it possible to recharge it to a wall outlet somehow? I'm sure I need some adapter for that but I'm not sure which. But I do have a power plug with a USB connector

Yeah, an AC USB "wall wart" that's capable of charging a tablet like an iPad will work fine. Like a 2 amp one. Some of the ones for phone charging are under powered. I just bought one off Amazon myself.

In fact, the iPad wall wart works in a pinch. Not iPhone/iPod one. Look for an output rating around 2 amp. They're not all that expensive.

And the MVP is a nice device. I like Innokin myself but went for the VTR. Steeper up front but replaceable batteries so I'll save money in the long haul.

You guys were right. MVP2 was definitely the right thing to upgrade. Thanks again.

Been smoke free for 10 days, but I'm having the strongest cravings right now... My aerotank mini doesn't fit the MV2 properly (not 100% 510 connection). To make it work, I had to unscrew the tank to make contact. But still it didn't feel right and the overall look (MVP2 + aerotank mini) doesn't look straight perfectly. Plus, it drains e-liquid so fast due to the stupid dual coils and the tank is small... but that's ok.

So I've ordered Aerotank mega as that has proper 510 thread w/ the beauty ring, so hopefully that'll sastify me better. But for the time being.... it looks like I'm gonna go back to analogues for a bit until the mega arrives...

Basically, I've learnt that sometimes ppl actually have to spend more money (investment) to get the right vaping gear... Otherwise, all hell breaks loose. Vaping stuff does get expensive (I spent too much. Damn these companies with pro advertising skills) -_-

The MVP 2 is a great upgrade from egos. It's likely to be the most bang for your buck, and you'll get a ton of use from it. Mine came very handy when I was teaching myself how to build coils, even after I upgraded to a Provari. I used it as a base to mount the coil on the atomizer, then checked the ohms, and then hit fire to oxidize and set the coils. All on one device, which made it extremely convenient. I actually miss my MVP 2s a great deal. I've gotten stuck without a way to charge my phone during my commute a couple of times without one. They spoiled me! I wound up giving one to my sister, who had her egos stolen, and traded one in the classies.

Not all devices come with a "wall wart" but that can actually be easily dealt with. Like I nabbed one of these:

USB wall adapter

wall_wart.jpg

USB is standardized so a lot of the widgets out there will work fine. The key is to get one that has sufficient output. That particular one is rated up to 2.1 amps so it'll work in most cases. Your average "mod" (or APV... "Advanced Personal Vaporizer") battery charges at one half amp to one amp. So a wall wart that can handle 2.1 amps has more than enough.

Do not get anything meant to charge cell phones or iPods or other mp3 type players. They're not meant to drive a larger battery like the MVP has. On the other hand, an iPad charger will work. I've done it myself. :)

(The iPad's wall wart is rated at 2.1 amps just like the Amazon one I link to above.)

Far as the MVP in general, it's wildly popular around here though I passed on it myself and went for the VTR (also by Innokin). My only issue with the MVP is that while it has nice battery capacity (2600mAh if I recall), the battery cannot be replaced. Now, it'll last a good while but batteries do eventually wear out. You have to replace the entire unit. You can't just slap another battery in.

On the other hand, 101vape has a fantastic price on the MVP so even replacing the unit might not be all that costly over the long haul. Depends on how hard you are on your batteries. Myself, I'm pretty rough on them. I vape a lot and at a fairly high wattage. So I went for the VTR since 18650 batteries--even high end ones--are not terribly expensive to replace.

In general, though, loads and loads of folk here on the ECF are quite happy with the MVP. It was in my "short list" when I was ready to upgrade. I do like the "pass through" ability. My VTR doesn't have that. That could help on battery life since if you're near a powered USB port or have a "wall wart", you don't have to run on the battery at all. Just run off battery when you're out and about.
