It seems that Kanger it's just to bring new clearos to the market, is taking care on few of the complaints that people are talking about (the propietary mouthpiece for example) and it's kind of going on the vivi nova-visions direction of having the base separated from the coil but on a BCC.

What it's called the EVOD, is a BCC with the different capacities and coming on a metal tank. It seems that is not taking care of the recent complaints of inconsistencies between the different batches and their production lines on the T3.....

What bugs me is that it's not waiting to consolidate a good product like the T3 and instead is forcing their clients to buy stuff that they will perform the same way as the previous lines.

Is this the norm on this industry? to release new products without bothering of what their clients bought from them?

Vapmex, Have you tried the EVOD? I just figured that would be where my next $ would go, onto the next big "improvement".
I love the concept of the T3. I still do. Still use them everyday, with fiddling. On one hand, I write this all off as a young market. It really has come a long way from when I started. vaping just has so many variances for each individual.
IMHO, the T3 problem doesn't come so much from knockoffs as it does from a massive jump in demand. Somebody puts the word out how amazing they are, orders sky rocket. Kanger can't pump 'em out as fast as the demand, so they spread out to other factories. QC doesn't appear to be the same in all manufacturing facilities. They each make little "improvements ?" from the originals (which seem to be the ones which earned the accolades). Again, this is just my opinion from all the reading I've done, and I've been known to be wrong before!
With all that being said, I too don't understand why they are onto the next great thing, when they could focus on improving the last greatest thing they just introduced! Haha, I bet this doesn't make any sense now. Sorry for the long post folks! Man, I loved the carto/tanks until.......

SAG the issue is that I was caught in the middle.. I got a couple of tjhe 2 holes T3 version which works fantastic and 5 spare coils and then I was l reading all these comments of the unconsistency on the T3 new batches, so I was planning to buy an MT3 tube and 5 more spares when I found the EVOD info.... ugghh.. not sure what to do now, I mean buying the new stuff implies a new learning curve and risk of not being as good as the T3, buying the old stuff you have the risk of getting the items from bad batch.

I pair your comments, they are not closing the cycle of their products and with EVOD they are not taking care of other complaints that the Ts have, like the lack of 510 threading.

I think I will stick with the T3s and T2s I have until I get more feedback of these new products.

Aaah, here's something for you to think about, I know I am...So you were one of the lucky ones to get the 2 hole T3s that work well (before they made changes). This time, with the EVOD, I'm wondering if I should jump before the quality drops off in mass production or wait to see some feedback!
In the end, either way, I guess, I'm gonna be vaping happy! At this point, I just don't know with what.

Is this the norm on this industry?

Unfortunately, that is the norm of most industries. Making the Evod Kanger ensures that thousands will be bought, while doing small improvements on the old design would not get many orders from others than those who already like and use the T3. For a shopping customer a T3 v2 would still be a T3, but Evod is something new, something better. The bottom line in every industry is profit, and I hate that.

That said, the Evod addresses most issues I have on the T3, so it is a very wellcomed new product for me. I had two 1st gen T3's, and after a while I failed to find the balance between dry hits and leaking. Turned out both mouthpieces had developed tiny cracks that let air in the tank causing flooding. T2 mouthpiece cracked on me also, even with very little usage. The Evod mouthpiece is of a new material and could be a lot more durable.

To me the T3 is the PERFECT clearo. I don't like the eVod, the more threads you have the more danger of leaking you have. Inconsistencies should be cleared over time. The fact that you change the whole bottom assembly to me is the greatest ever. Cracking and leaking of plastics due to stress breaking should be normal, and most of the time it's because of the way you thread it onto the battery (do it from the bottom, so you don't twist the driptip and tube creating torsion). Replacing 1 whole T3 a month plus 3 or 4 bases to me is a calculated risk.

The eVod should be easier to rebuild, and I think it's geared towards rebuilders. While people that me that don't rebuild, spending 20 bucks a month on clearo and spare heads is in my comfort zone. It vapes great, great flavor, TH and vapor. A dream come true. Each time I receive a new batch of heads I cross my fingers that these will work great, and when they do I wouldn't trade it for anything...

Now I have to find my perfect eliquid and I'm done...

I'm still using the T2's. Until I start getting bad ones I don't see a reason to switch.

But, that is the nature of this industry right now. New products are coming out weekly almost. If you are a company like Kanger the pressure is always on to be the one to come out with the best and newest products or risk being left in the dust when another company beats you to the punch.

I think it's good and bad for us. It's good because products are constantly evolving. I mean look at what our choices were just a few years ago. The problem is that it's hard to know which new products are worth your money because so many end up having issues. My rule of thumb is to not buy any new products until they've been on the market at least a few months. Companies know that a certain percentage of people will jump on anything that is new, so they make their money and when the problems start to show up they can just put out another new product and repeat the cycle.

Overall, though I think Kanger products are some of the best and most reliable on the market at reasonable prices. I just wouldn't expect them to waste too much time improving what is already out there as they seem to always be working on something new.
