Is Provape in danger of becoming like Blackberry?

It's easy.. Use thin gauge wire for builds.. ;) Most of us who have been vaping for around 4 years totally quit smoking using cig-a-likes with atomizers, and foam-filled cartridges. ;) Rebuildables were but a dream for years.

I generally do not like to blow vape clouds larger than when I smoked cigs / cigars.. I still hang out with friends who smoke, and think it would be rude to blow copious vape clouds around them, or others for that matter. Color me "old-school", but I still am very much satisfied anywhere between 7-12 watts between my various toppers.. :vapor: Sometimes, even lower than that depending upon the juice.

I know folks are different... It's just difficult for me to understand people needing these bellowing clouds to be satisfied. Hell, I see more and more reviewers coughing their heads off with some of these builds. I'm into this journey for harm-reduction, and a *substitute* for tobacco smoking.. Nothing more, nothing less. :)

Well there WAS the Futura.

The Protovapor XPV's form-factor is closer to a square tube than a box.

And Zen's ZNA isn't exactly a box either.
Yea the protovapor I'd like to handle to see how it feels. They have a long lead time though. The zen is nice but everyone I have seen has sloppy finish work. Still a nice looking mod but for upwards of $300 I expect a bit more attention to the fine details.

Last I checked the lead time was down to 10/15 days. I like mine a lot.

I was skeptical about the XPV at first as well. But I ordered one way back when (before they got popular) and it quickly became my favorite mod. After a while, I decided I needed a second one as backup. The second one took quite some time to get. Neither of them get much love anymore, but that's only because I've come to prefer bottom-fed RDAs over tanks.

I am with you 110%! I started this to quit smoking, and it was successful where several other attempts using different alternatives failed. Although, now I do really enjoy the flavors!

Well there WAS the Futura.
A little OT but what happened to nextgen anyways? There was a huge storm created by them followed by badly mismanaged delivery of the products. Did that put them out of business?
NexGen and the Futura are still around, (I love mine). They are gearing up for a new Futura version.

They definitely had some problems getting things going for their startup, but that's not uncommon for a new business. Zen went through something very similar, and Provape's launch of the Provari wasn't all rainbows and unicorns either. ;)

Me too

For ages I've wanted a ProVape PCB and quality in a comfy rounded box in the 4-5 ounce weight range.

A certain reviewer known as PB has been spreading rumors. Says they are most definitely absolutely coming because he knows stuff. It's already been in the works for two years and the projected release date is any day now. Or maybe in 2019. Time to start a new thread because threads about products you cannot actually buy make them happen sooner.

Now THERE'S one I totally forgot about. NICE FIND!

if you use this you will get a nice little tune *Blackbird* so listen to some nice guitar before entering the site:
Flash Intro Page

It's their rendition of age verification......so nice! I sat here and listened to the song twice, all the way thru

Whew -- "any day now" and "soon" sound so much better. :)

But the ProVape curvy box only has 3 buttons, no camera and only 200 watts. It's overpriced and outdated...

But but but..... it comes in burnt fuchsia! (and YEAH on the no camera......altho........ hmmmmmmmmmm..... selfie vapes. you might be on to something there, 'gmu.)
