I guess I'll chime in so you can have a broad spectrum of answers. lol
For me, the transition is not easy. I started at 18mg & soon upped that to 24. Yesterday, I got some 36 for the occasional "tough" moment and for the first time, actually put my PV down for a few minutes! I have flavors that I like, but not any that I could vape all day. I switch flavors constantly. I tried to "move up" to a Lavatube and returned it. I am happy with my set up now - tanks and varying sizes of eGos (many eGo batteries).
Easy? No. Why continue? Because this journey will have a good end result, of this I am sure.
Please note OP - I have read many posts on this forum for many hours. I have read people's opinions on juice, gear, sports, food, one another...anything you could think of is here on some thread or another. Through all of the triumphs and frustrations, I have not seen a single post where the writer lamented the switch. Nowhere do I see people sorry that they tried vaping instead. I felt badly that I couldn't just switch the moment I picked up an ecig. I don't anymore. I know now that I stopped paper cigs in my own way, on my terms and that's how I will stay off of them.
You may switch and find your perfect set-up and favorite juice in a day, it may take a few months and many trials, but with all of the options available (I'm sure your head is spinning already)it's out there.
Sorry, ramble over. ...and if one more person IRL asks if I've lowered my nic to get away from vaping, I will hit them.....
