I don't really have any desire to move on from my Twists/Spinners. They give me the power that I need, I don't mind changing my battery once or twice a day, and they feel comfortable in my hand (something as big as a screwdriver handle seems awkward to me). After getting a couple of Spinners though, I don't see myself ever getting another Twist. The Spinner is shorter than the Twist (but slightly wider), and the numbers are very clear on my Spinners. My Twist was hard to read when it was brand new. Now the number are so worn down that it's nearly impossible to see what voltage it's set at.

Not really. I just got something better cause its cool and I wanna show off
You understand my meaning. Thank you <3On the other hand if you are pretty consistent as in most of my attys are in the 1.7-2.0 ohm range. the VW works wonderfully for me. I absolutely love it on my vamo and almost never have to adjust anything.
I got my eGo Twist today, brilliant. It's longer than a Joyetech eGo 1000 but still within reason, got some good vapes from that bad boy today.
Best vape I have is the MVP with an Smoktech Artemas tank, but the eGo with Artemas was solid.![]()
Why is wrapping coils so important? I see that mentioned a lot to new users as well.
I think more times than not, too many people forget they were once new at this yet they speak like we're all a bunch of veterans.
Sadly the new member threads quickly get derailed with speak that can be over the top. What happened to keeping it simple?...
Been vaping for several months now... Have tried a couple clearos, tanks, etc... I'm wondering now.. Is there a good reason to move beyond the Ego C-Twist I've been using for a while now? Beyond battery life, which is a minor issue for me (the ego lasts a day +, and I charge it overnight). It seems like all the tweaking I'd even want to do is a thing that's handled "above" the battery. I guess I'm asking.... Why should I buy another mod if they're all just variable voltage batteries that serve more or less the same function?
**This is not a troll post, I'm genuinely curious as to what more expensive PV's have to offer beyond bells & whistles like a puff counter and aesthetic value
And this is probably the reason I smoked a pipe. There was a hobby quality for that as well....
So, in my opinion, there is not a real reason to move beyond an ego twist .. unless you feel like it. Sometimes it gets boring vaping the same pv all the time. The hobby component of e-cigs is one huge differentiator from tobacco cigarettes. Gadgets are cool and interesting and sometimes a new device can give you the spark you need to stay off the analogs.
