That's only a clear tank and top replacement for a Kayfun. If you get just that you will have a hard time vaping without the bottom to attach a coil and wick to!

If you want one that inexpensive I would suggest a kayfun from fasttech. You'll wait two to four weeks for it to be delivered though. Here's one that is all set up like the kit from ebay only it has the bottom part $12.87 Kayfun Lite Styled Rebuildable Atomizer (4.5mL) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

101vape.com has a good clone for $33. Kayfun Lite Plus Clone - 101 Vape Not sure what brand clone it is (probably Tobeco) but is has good reviews.

To answer your question, is it good for a beginner, the answer is no. Not because building a coil for it is any tougher that any other unit. Building a coil is building a coil. What make the Kayfun a difficult is that you will have to fiddle with it while you experiment and learn what coil set up works for you and the Kayfun is time consuming to empty and disassemble so you can work on it. I highly recommend learning on a Squape clone or Taifun GS clone sine they are easy to take apart and easy to reassemble. You can find clones for those on Fasttech too.

I'm with Myst on this one: Kayfun and Beginner do not go together. Take your time, experiment. If you want to move on from disposables, try a VW mod and an Aspire Nautilus. The whole "build" thing is not as easy as RIPtrip may lead you to believe. It may be for some, but I'd prefer a newbie has enough success to continue, not get frustrated and give up. That would be the worst option. Good Luck.

I started vaping 2 months ago with a joyetech ego-cc smart kit ego-c upgrade battery moved on to a kanger mini protank 2 v2 and shortly stated rebuilding my own coils for that. Just went to VapeBash this weekend and picked up a ProVari Zombie Edition 2.5 and a hcigar kayfun clone and already have it built with a 1.8 ohm micro coil. Not all beginners are complete ...... as some more "experienced" vapers like to think. The things is to have lots of patience do your homework, read and watch tutorials. Google and YouTube are your best friends. As far as getting a kayfun clone I highly suggest the hcigar kayfun clone it is IMHO the best kayfun clone out there. It's around $50 depending on where you get it buts well worth the money and it's very well built.

As for the Rocket Clone you have listed. I have 3 of the exact ones. Not really for a beginner. When they work they work good. Steep learning curve. don't get them exact they gurgle and leak out the airholes. They work on suction so any air in them filling they leak. I went through some frustration getting them to work. Their is an easy fix for gurgling that allows to you fill from the top. Once you have the system down they are great. Need a special filler that jams in the bottom filler hole so air does not get in.

I would buy an Hcigar KF 3.1 clone. Hcigar is known to have the best quality clones most of the time. The downside is that it's bigger than the KFL+ clones.

You can get an Hcigar 3.1 clone on eBay for less than $40. I wouldn't bother with anything on FT unless you can verify the manufacturer, which FT generally doesn't divulge. There is just too much junk on there, and I'd rather spend $40 to buy something of good quality than to have to deal with Slow Tech.
