Is vaping as good with a beer as cigarettes was?

Im going to have to say kinda. You get more of a rush when you smoke a cigarette because of the carbon monoxide and the lack of oxygen being process. Also when nicotine is inhaled with a cigarette it absorbs into the lungs faster thus the effect with alcohol is instant. When you vape, however, the nicotine takes a little longer to absorb into the blood stream making the effects altered. I still only vape when I drink for the habit, but it the physiological affects are wayyyyy different.

Cup of dark roast coffee, NLV Gold or Heather's Oompa and a snifter of B&B (candle flame warmed)....That's it!

Yes, I know it's not beer...just thought I'd share. :p

peach iced tea (or any iced tea) seems to go amazingly with a number of my fruit vapes. so does sangria :D

Newport, Rocket, anyone, just keep experimenting around. youre bound to find an enjoyable drink n vape combo. youll make connections, and sometimes they even sneak up on you and you end up with X drink and Y vape by accident and then boom, a stellar combo is born. :)

This. 100%.
When I first switched to vaping, I missed the hell out of a good beer and a smoke. That was when I had my hardest times. But once you get past that, it becomes way better having a vape rather than a smoke. You can tailor you flavors to match the beer. For light lagers like corona for example, a lime or citrus vape goes fantastically. The citrus vape also goes well with IPAs, wheat beers, and hefeweisens.

I have not had the pleasure of indulging in a chocolate vape with a raspberry lambic, but thanks! I plan to and I've got just the pairing. Lindemans framboise with halo Belgian chocolate. I can taste it already.

I happen to be a beer geek, so the transition to beer and vape was a bit easier. I can taste my beer more now that I don't smoke, and the pairings are off the wall. Stouts and porters with coffee, vanilla, chocolate, and even ry4 vapes are a natural pairing. A banana vape with an Ayinger is a home run. The pumpkin beers thus time of year would go amazingly with a number if holiday vapes that ate in the scene currently. The possibilities are endless.

Vape on. :toast:

I didn't think about the citrus, gotta give that a shot (no pun). I've been vaping my USA reds with Maker's Mark, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
and the IPA. You're right about the being able to taste the fire water more. Stinkys give alcohol a slight burn going down.

Good info in this thread! But what vape goes with Jägermeister? :2cool:

I'm more of a light/pale ale drinker myself (when I drink beer), but I can imagine how a stout with a citrus vape would be an awesome combo.

Try the citrus vape with the light beer rather than a stout. You want a dessert flavor with stout. For the jäger, how about some radiator Pluid?
