What exactly are you looking for in an rta?

Not-so-airy draw (I'm a tootle puffer)
Glass tank and small-ish, ~2ml
Easy building deck
Leak-proof
Top fill
Preferably not having to dump the tank to access the deck, but that isn't a big priority

I have a Lemo 2, and that may turn out to be okay, but I just haven't made a coil that works great yet. I haven't put a lot of effort into it yet, though. I only have 32 gauge kanthal, so I twisted it. Maybe I should triple-twist it. And the tank is larger than I am used to (heavy).

Basically, I would like something that works and feels like a Nautilus mini, if that gives you any indication of what I'm looking for. I'll probably have to give on one or two points, though. I'm perfectly happy with the nauty, but the lack of access to coils in the future is a concern.

Ck out the Kayfun Mini v3 clone thread.

It meets all your requirements except the deck is pretty small.

I also suggest you try an Eleaf GS Air, they are a little over half the price of the KF M v3 at Fasttech and it's coils are to me a little easier to rebuild than the deck on the v3. Flavor machines. 2 ml. There are large threads on each, both having very helpful ECF peeps within.

Vaping isnt going anywhere ....its the next stage in the evolution of smoking and the big tobacco guys are rubbing their hands in glee at the billions to be made. They desperately need a new and sustainable source of revenue since smoking rates in the developed world have dropped for 5 years straight.

But first they have to wrest control of the vaping industry....and take it out of the hands of the thousands of vendors making and selling the hardware and software. They will target software first, by making impossible rules that are designed to drive the eliquid makers out of business.

Then one day some politicians who have been bought by them will make a big speech in congress about how vaping doesnt have to be outlawed if practised in a responsible and regulated way. And this will prime the the stage for big tobacco to set their plans in motion

Next thing you know there will be marlboro mods, tanks, coils and liquids.....priced at almost the same or more than analogs. Shares of BAT etc will soar.

So no, you wont have to give up vaping...all you will need to do is give these swines their pound of flesh.

I'm sorry but after reading segments of the deeming regs (I can't read it start to finish,it gives me a headache), watching webcast and webinars by groups including casaa and sefata(sic?), I firmly believe the only surviving vaping gear will be cigalikes.

Closed, proprietary systems with proprietary secret sauce(juice) cigalikes.

And those cig-a-likes will be produced by BT who will not care whether you buy it or not. They know a good portion of the vaping community will turn back to smoking and current smokers will continue to smoke due to lack of decent, competing products. Sluggish sales along with the high cost of entry to market will ensure the surviving companies have no interest in innovation.

and when all of this comes to a bitter end and there are no more manufacturers of vaping stuff...
the price of all those cheap clones weve bought will be worth a gold mine...

The USA is not the only market for Chinese companies ... I think vaping products will be available from Chinese suppliers for a very long time ... not to worry !

Ya the lemo 2 is one of the better starter/mtl tanks. Another good one is the wine rta but it's very basic. And with 32g wire you'd prob be best off with a quad twist just be alot easier and still won't pack to huge a punch. Building rta's just takes time to fall in love with. Took me 10 builds on my stm till i found my sweet spot. Just stick with if bc sadly i think it'll be our only real option soon.

I have purchased mine from My Freedom Smokes. However, there are several recommended vendors that sell nicotine base like Wizzard Labs and others that are slipping my mind. Check this thread in the DIY subforum:
Is there a blog or article to help someone new to DIY?

You can purchase Vg from the same places. Heck, you can buy it from Walmart.

Heh, I just picked one of those up at the walmart neighborhood market. I was surprised to see it there. I thought only the full size ones have them. That being said, I've used this quite a few times when I didn't have the cash to order bigger amounts online. It's $3.88 where I live and you can make 6 30ml bottles out of it.

i was going to buy me one of those Stepford Wives - and you can imagine how a sp Terminator like me could find someone like that attractive.

But she vapes and so i now would have to file an FDA susbtantially equivalent petition and see if i could meet the 'intended use' stipulations. Which is where i'm struggling. Since it's a battery powered device that uses nicotine liquid.

i no longer use nicotine but i do like vaping still and see no reason to pay any attention to poorly drafted laws, made by pork-barrelling idiots for no benefit other than that of the companies that pay them off. You call them Senators. i call them something else.
