Hi All! This is my first post. I have been trying to read through threads to see if I could find my answer before asking and I have seen this issue mentioned but haven't seemed to find a resolution. I am new to vaping, just started a week and a half ago and have already lost any desire for analogs. I am truly loving it!!!! Just having issues with some gurgling and getting a small bit of juice in my mouth when vaping. I got an eGo 1100 CE4-CC Clearomizer kit based on a recommendation from a friend who has been vaping a while. Really not sure if I am doing something wrong or if it is just the style of clearomizer that is allowing this to happen. I am very careful about not getting the juice in the coil tip when filling. Is it common for these to not have a tight enough seal that the juice leaks in a bit? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Thanks!!!!
Hm... like this:
SmokTek eGo 1100 CE4-Changeable Coil Clearomizer E-Cigarette Kit with carry case? I mean as in that's what your set up looks like?
If so, yeah, I run into that a bit here and there. First thing is unscrew the clearo and see if the battery tip is wet. No matter
how hard you try, you're going to get some juice down the vent hole once in a while. Doesn't have to be much to be irritating. If the battery tip is damp, grab the tissues, wipe everything and gently (and
carefully) blow into the mouth piece while holding the base of the clearo in tissue. Be careful not to blow really hard. I managed to blow a bit of juice (just a little fortunately) right into my fool eye once. It was Not Fun. I blew hard and my hand was cupped around the bottom of the clearo and deflected the stream of air into my face. Yay.
But 99% of the time, if I get a gurgle, it's condensation in the mouthpiece. When I get a gurgle, I hold the base of the clearo (still on the battery), tilt the whole thing a bit, unscrew the mouthpiece then pull it back a bit. Most times, a bit of juice trickles right off the rubber cap on the head.
I think it condenses while you're vaping. If you look into the mouthpiece after an inhale, you'll see some of the vapor stays inside the mouthpiece. My bet is it condenses in the mouthpiece, building up a bit over time. I've just fallen into the habit of undoing the mouthpiece to let the build up run back into the clearo at the first sign of "gurgle".
Do watch the head. You can gradually unscrew it by turning the mouthpiece too much. Then it's a whole, annoying chore of pouring the juice out, taking the clearo apart, redoing everything... bleah.
