Finally got ahold of joyetech. Been a pain in the you know what, but they're replacing my carpet and offered me whatever product they made for free that I wanted. So they kinda mad it right. But they still shouldn't have something like this out to begin with.
That's good news. I'm glad they're doin that. But you're right. They either don't have the capacity to thoroughly test these mods or just don't. Do you have a contact you could share?

In my eyes there responsible. If I'm paying $70 for something id at least expect it to work correctly. I don't care where its made. I know you get what you pay for but when it comes to batteries, the protection circuitry should work. I know you get what you pay for but come on. Your selling something just about everyone I know has make the thing safe.

Well, 90-day warranty is good! :D

At least for Jason!
Unless they try avoiding me until 90 days are up. I wouldn't be shocked if they did. This is a very serious problem. Dangerous situation. Which the day after mine first started I went and bought a new mod. I was fortunate I had the money at the time.

That is not really an option, is it? Are you ready to chuck your TV, cell phone, refrigerator, computer, etc? Let's not bash China. They invented the e-cig. ;)

They may not be the best at CS, but they are improving.

I had mine 36 days. Never dropped it. Didn't drip or use any leaky tanks. I babied it . Still the fire button started sticking going to 10 every time. Then started automatically firing

I'd contact the vendor and ask for a replacement. I've heard that Eleaf honors 90 day returns.

Local shops in Ga have signs saying" warning do not charge your devices with Apple products" . I haven't asked why because I don't own any Apple stuff. Not trying to scare you just feel like I should tell you

Some of the tablet chargers are high amp ... much higher than the 1A suggestion for ecigs. 2A is OK for 26650 batteries, but the 18650 recommendations are 500ma and no higher than 1A.

I use an EasyACC 4 port charger from Amazon to charge most everything. Port 1 is 1A, Port 2 is 1.3A, The other two ports are 2.1A. I use skinny USB cables for the 1A line so that I know it's the one for ecigs. The others have fatter USB cables plugged in for tablets. That's just the way I prevent plugging the wrong one into an Ecig. I can grab a cable that's plugged into the charger and know what it's good for.
