I have both the blue and the orange mods (red is not red, it's orange).

I keep my wattage set to 31 watts on both devices. Every time I remove the atty from either of the mods, when I screw it back on, the watts automatically changes to 30 watts, and I can't figure out why. I'm mainly using the mods with the Melo 4 tank (.15 mesh coil) but the issue happens with other tanks as well (although other tanks cause the wattage to be set to way low numbers (like 1.5 or 20) using a .5 coil. I'm not sure if this board is just wacked or what.

Any ideas? I just received them a week ago, or so. I'm using the latest firmware (1.01).

In the 75w version, you can disable this feature. They call it smart mode - it basically chooses for you whst wattage the atty you screw in needs. But I can't find out how to change it in the manual

DJlsb is usually pretty thorough in his reviews. He may mention it in this:
