Hi all you vapers, my 1st thread on here. Well started vapeing March this year ( no cigs since ). decided to buy a mod and chose the svd. Great mod except for the fire button. After reading about the problem on here I took the said button out to reveal the micro switch. It seemed to be operating ok (clicking on every press). So I gave it a small spray of wd40 and hey not only clicking but also green light put it back together and it is still working ok. Early days yet, only 1 day, but as yet fires every time. Worth a try for anyone with same problem.

I've beaten the crap out of mine for over a year and no problems. Still works like new. Hopefully yours is good to go!
Yes I used a pair of wire cutters opened up and got under the edge of the retaining collar at opposite sides and prised it off. It came off quite easily. Then used a pencil to press the switch and as I said it was clicking but not firing. Not had a misfire since. Good luck with yours.
Sorry michaelpet not used to forums. Your response is on here but just in case. Yes I used a pair of wire cutters with the blades open to get under opposite edges of the retaining collar and prised it off. Came off easily. Then pressed the switch with a pencil and got a click but not firing. After WD40. Well still working like a goodone. Good luck with yours.
