I purchased an iTaste VV on June 13th. 10 minutes ago, it stopped working. LCD doesn't turn on, LED doesn't turn on, doesn't vape, nothing happens when I plug it in. I've treated this thing VERY carefully, never ever dropped it or been hard with it, yet it is dead. I'm very unhappy, there is no reason this should have died so fast. Is there anything that can be done to remedy this, or am I just out $70? I really can't afford to purchase a new vape atm and have nothing to use.

There's something really fked with it. If I toss an atty on it, it'll CONSTANTLY vape, but it puts out an incredibly low voltage. I could barely even notice it, but I do get a very small amount of vapor.

bad, I already opened a ticket, but does that mean sending it to China and waiting to get one back? Because that'll be expensive and months. I have nothing to use atm.

After contacting Innokin, I got this response:

I don’t understanding why Gotvapes.com didn’t provide warranty , usually we only give new replacements to distributor instead of enduser. I will let our sales department contact Gotvapes , we provide warranty , usually them can send you new one . Here is usage video by distributor in UK

He said he would ask about getting me a replacement direct from Innokin, but that that isn't how they usually do things.

Mysteriously, the iTaste started functioning again after I left it on the charger (while closely monitoring temperature to make sure it didn't explode on me). I had to leave it on the charger for several hours -- about 3 hours at 500 mAh.

Just to let you know, if you drain the battery completely it won't turn on for a while. Same thing happened to me. Also if it gets hot it will also shut down till it cools down... Found this out while dry burning.

Also found with a Phoenix BC that made my Reo mini spring drop, if you screw a carto or atty down really tight, the kind that can short out a mechanical (spring drops) the it will give you a long green glow and the display will show 0.0, just unscrew it a little and it works fine, just don't put it in a mechanical.

I could really understand this, but what concerns me more is that it is constantly putting out power to the contacts, which means any atomizer attached to it will constantly be heated. That doesn't sound like a standard "dead battery" to me, but rather a failure in the circuitry of the device. I'll be keeping a close eye on it for the next few days.
