As a big time BC Phoenix lover, I'm interested in these "GV innokin iTaste VV² TIDY 510 CLEAROMIZER 1.2ml"
Can anyone confirm if they disassemble just like the Phoenix XL's? For ease of cleaning? Do they vape just like the Phoenix's?

The Tidy vapes really well, the flavor is outstanding, better than the Phoenix, imho, and no dry hits - but it has a drastic tendency to dump, and you can't dry burn it, like Yiddle said. It gets very warm, too - good for some (like me), not so good for others. I won't buy it again unless they fix the dumping issue.

Yiddle, Your doggie is sooooooo darn cute!!! should be named "Precious!" Laso Aphsa?

Thank you. He's named Shiyo, Japanese for "gift" and he's a shih tzu.

Crap! came back to say that I have managed to use the tidys without the dumping by filling upside down, VERY slowly. Forgot what I was doing, went to change flavors, pulled on the tidy and........................you guessed it!!!!tube came right off and I've dumped juice all over myself again! The tubes on these are JUST TOO LOOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't have strong hands anymore and just a tug to pull out the adapter shouldn't be enough to pull the tube off.
I guess the moral of this story is: If you're able to use them, unscrew to change flavors, which of course is what you'd do if you only have one adapter. I just happen to have more than one.

Ok, I have a question. For those of you that already have the itaste......... Just thinking.....

If I was to purchase A spare battery from gotvapes for 44.95
an 808 adapter 6.49
charger cable 5.95 (saw cable somewhere else)
---------------------------
Would that be everything I need to vape a regular 808 cartomizer on the itaste? or is something missing?
I know I wouldn't have the handy dandy & pretty pen cap this way, but would this work?

Been having a lot of leaking problems with the TIDY's. Today I decided to try it again, but reversed the cap from the way I normally insert it (there's a little bevel on one side, so I figured that's the side that goes down, and have been doing it like that until today). So far, I'm having a ton less ejuice come out of the top. I quite like it now that it isn't burning my mouth with eliquid.

It's me again......New toy jitters! :)

I just thought of something...... I am getting a charging cable, BUT that won't have the wall adapter! Did the kit come with the wall adapter? I don't want to blow up my laptop! Is is safe for a laptop?

Ok let me ask you this.... if you know....
I have a wall adapter from my IGO input 100-240 50/60Hz 0.3A
output 5v 0.5A

I also have one for my V2 and the input 100-240 50/60Hz 0.2A max
output 5v 1A

I called the guy where I am getting the charging cable from and he said if I had an adapter that was 5000 milliamp hours then I would be fine to charge Itaste in wall.

I am getting so confused!! lol So, does anyone know > is 0.5 actually 5000 milliamp hours? And if so does that mean that my v2 wall adapter above is actually better than the IGO wall adapter, putting out more? Is that 1A better or higher than 0.5 ? (but yet the input on the v2 has a max of 0.2A) For the igo, the input does not say Max, it just says 0.3

Does the input matter? any safety issue? lol I just don't really know about these things!
Can someone explain please.
and most importantly, can i use one or both of these to charge my itaste with the itaste charging cable?

Thank you so much for any information you may know about this.

When I leave a small gap between the filler plate and the mouthpiece I don't get the "juice mouth".

I want to thank DevilWoman for this tip, I read it here, post # 17:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/variable-voltage-apv-discussion/309772-not-many-itaste-2.html#post6606332

Thanks, I've noticed it usually leaks when it is on the side, as juice leaks into the top then gets sucked out when inhaling. The TIDY I just opened yesterday and wasn't leaking... well, it started leaking. Out of the bottom as well. The 510 adapter was full of RY4, and it could have only came from this clearomizer.

The guy who told you that has no idea what he is talking about... 5000 milliamp hours would be a capacity which is useless here (not to mention 5000 mA would be 10 times too high, even if he said milliamps instead of milliamp hours). You want to use the first charger you listed -- the one that says "output: 5v 0.5 A". They may also say "output: 5v 500 mA", but it means the same thing. The USB port on a computer will output the correct amps/voltage, as well. Avoid using anything higher than that. It's possible that the iTaste can take 1 A, it completely depends on how it was designed. But when dealing with Chinese electronics, always err on the side of caution :). Hope this helps.

I'm thinking that you need the 5v/2amp adapter as other 5v PTs need that to be fully functional. I have the full kit but the writing on the adapter is too small for these old eyes to read. I'm trying to get you the right answer from someone else. :)

5v PTs need higher amperage because they are true passthroughs, while the iTaste is not. The iTaste battery charges until it has enough of a charge to power the PV at whatever wattage is required. If you plug it in on a dead/near dead battery, and try hitting it, it will either not let you, or it will cut off halfway through as it doesn't have enough of a charge. FWIW, you can purchase a USB rechargable battery pack that outputs 5v@2A, then plug that into a 5v@500mA power source, then the 5v PT into the battery pack. That would be how the iTaste works.

Also, I didn't notice the iTaste charger had that writing on it! It is indeed 5v@500mA output.

Either wall adapter they have will work. The charger is internal on the iTaste, not in the cord. It will not take more than it needs.

BTW you must have a darn fine microscope to read the bottom of the iTaste adapter! Lol

Again, err on the side of caution when it comes to Chinese electronics/batteries :). It could/should be completely safe. Why risk it if you have a 500 mA charger, though?

Also you guys are making me feel young. All I had to do was tilt it into the light and it was legible. I suppose I should enjoy this 20/13 vision while it lasts... :(

I couldn't read the writing on the adapter for nothing... Light, glasses, no glasses... Feel old now. :( Sigh.

Out of the 4 TIDY's I've opened, 2 have leaked both top and bottom after 1 day, 1 has a burnt taste to it, 1 was DOA. I have one left to open, but jeez I have not had good luck with them. I'll stop ranting about them, just want to make it clear that you really shouldn't buy or use them unless you get them in the starter kit.

I fill the Tidy by placing a condom on the threaded end and I slide a syringe needle down the air hole along the side so that the air comes out easily and there is no chance of pressure building up while I fill. I tip the air vent to the high side as I fill so the air comes out easier. I fill with a syringe through the fill hole. I pull the syringes out and replace the cap before I remove the condom. I dab the bottom with a tissue and blow through it to make sure it is dry before I put it back on the iTaste. I leave a small gap between the filler plate and the mouthpiece and it keeps juice from getting in my mouth.

When I feel the bottom of the tube getting loose when I am cleaning, I pull the tube to the top of the serrations, clean and dry it, and put Crazy Glue around it and push the tube back down. It keeps the tube tight and it can still be cleaned in hot water without taking the tube off.

It seems like I'm over cautious, but I have never had a leak or spill. Most people couldn't get them to work easily so I doubt they will continue to make them. They have already trialed a new design that works better at the expense of taste.

Okay well I have been watching this for a few days and I sure want one in white!! It is so pretty!!
I have all kr808 stuff and since this has an adapter, I am going to take the plunge!

I know you guys and gals prob don't even have 808 stuff huh? lol I just like it simple and haven't learned about all the other stuff yet. But if any of you do happen to have old 808 stuff around, have you tried it on your itaste and if so, was it a lot better being able to adjust to your sweet spot?
Thanks for any info. Now I just have to wait for next shipment! Darn, I should have just done it the other day instead of just watching!!

I use 808 cartomizers with mine and it does well....also the echo threaded stardust clearos !!:)
