My reasons for converting my Ody over to Ithaka dual.

I have way to many Ody parts and pieces to list, it makes more sense to convert my Odys than to replace them.
My Odys are v1, I didn't upgrade to v2 when it was available, so a dual upgrade is a big advantage.
I prefer the Ody bases and shorter center pins, which make the Ody considerably shorter than Ithaka . I can use the Ody 510 base on "other" PV's than incorporate their own AD control with out having to add Ithakas AD control to.

Don't get me wrong, the Ithaka has tons of advanced features, obviously Imeo had to be inspired to improve on the already awesome Ody. It seemed like a perfectly rational decision to upgrade my priceless Odys to include some of Ithakas features.

Is there anything in play to replace the clear tank section on the Ithaka with a SS tank section or can we use the Ody SS short mode and delete the section that screws down to the Ithaka base and clear section, then ithaka upper body to get an all SS Ithaka, ( absinthe destroyed my clear window on my ithaka and my all day vape is absinthe.)

Yes you can Rene.
I used a dremel to remove the small set of threads on the bottom of the ceramic holder used for grounding on the Ithaka. Then it will work with the Ody center pin and base. The only parts that can't be used on the Ody from the Ithaka are the base, basic feed, and the 510 adapter, which are all replaced by the Ody parts designed to do those functions. All the rest of Ithakas parts fit perfectly, and can be used with any of Odys parts.

So just got my 2 sets of ithaka top caps and small top caps in for my odysseus yesterday. Cleaned and put on. Only thing I wish is that I would have picked up a 3rd set for my 3rd ody.

They are great. Makes refilling a breezer which was my main reason for getting them. I also like the look a little more.

I thought I saw earlier it posted that these new caps also let it hold more liquid, anyone know how much?

lol, between Ody and UFS, every spare set of o-rings I have is missing that 9x2 one at this point Fortunately it's a size I have at work so I grabbed a handful of them from there to replenish

I'm pretty sure the o ring on top for the Ithaka is 9x2.5 and the ody is 9x2

Is there a way to convert one of my Ithakas to only using smaller Odysseus 510 base?

I want a shorter atty that doesn't need the Ithaka air flow and I don't use basic feeding.
