Well, I'm a little confused....

Few hours ago I misunderstood Imeo about brass cap, as I understood he was NOT going to make it, I imagine he was talking about the new cap with old brass, while my only concern was having an old brass cap, no matter if old or new shape, so, I'm very happy!

But I share Itshak' concern about Odysseus long mode: the list Imeo wrote few days ago included the "mandatory" big ring, but I don't see it in the new list.
I hope it's a lapse, because this part is really scarce, (BTW, too often I see so called full upgade kits on the used marked laking the big metal ring); it's even the only part that has not been cloned
Imeo, please tell us you forgot to include the Odysseus big ring in the list, but you're going to make it. ;-)

Looks like the center pin is longer and it has rounded edge on top. COV has a good pic in the GGTS parts section. It looks like it might be more expensive too. Gotta have one!!!

Hi Imeo,

Just wondering about the thought behind releasing Ithaka and Penelope V2 upgrade kits costing a lot of $$$$. Why didn't you wait until people had the option to get P2 and Ithaka with different upgrade setups?

I have both P1, Ithaka and P2. Now it seems as though I'm going to purchase a P2 upgrade kit after Buying an Ithaka upgrade kit last month. I don't see who will buy the insides of my Ithaka and P2??

If I had the choice I would have purchased Ithaka with upgrade insides as well as P2 with upgrade insides.

Does this make sense??

Black, I understand your point of view, but I think we - me included of course, in first line - are asking too much; let's make a reality check: Imeo is an one-man-band, he does his best for pleasing the request from the all of us (and of course everybody has his own personal priorities), including reissues of obsolete components; in the meantime he has to work hard to maintain the leadership in the market: believe me, when you're the leader you must run more than the chasers...

But this is not really the point; asking to make available old and new versions at the same time is like asking Ferrari to make available at the same time the 2013 and 2014 F1 model.

BTW, in my opinion Ithaka V2 is a "side-grade", not really an upgrade (as far as I'm concerned Ithaka V1 is the best atom ever made), but just a different one; V2 vapes different - and of course it's much easier to build, but for me this is not really a problem - preferring V1 or V2 is only a question of personal taste.

There is no other telescopic,but the rebuildble part of Ody and old one of Ithaka are the same thread and size?
