TOP TIP - If you want to pull wick through the coil and it's too tight get it soaked with e-juice and then it pulls through easier
Ok I open Ithaka from below without empty the juice.
Made regular 2mm silica double with 3mm silica on resistance.
5 wraps of 28 kantal 1.3ohm.
Made the wraps very very close.
Close air for a bit tighter draw.
And it's vape great just great.
It vape with dryer haze with more flavor and better TH,the way I like.
Is this make one a silica guy?I think not it's just I found my sweat spot on this configuration.
And I like very fast builts,as I'm running some 8 Ithakas full for me and me wife.
Now built take the same time for now compare to old rebuildable part with ready wire.
But I have more flexibility with how high I put the coil above hole.
Becouse I like very much the old center post nut,it's very important to me.
Now I did cut the silica as captain and aal recommended and it's just a great vape.
It's wick better then 4 channels.
It still dens vape a bit maybe do to better juice flow I have now.
one more vape ... this is were I like it no changes.
And One more vap... It's taste different then old rebuildable part,
Not know how to categorize it it not better of less just different note of
