I apologize for trying to incite discord amongst the GG family by chanting "Jerry! Jerry!".

I, unfortunately, am not one of the ones who pre-ordered the Ithaka. I am, however, just as frustrated as you are by CoV's questionable sales practices. Just ask my wife. She was unable to go to sleep last night because I wouldn't shut up about it.

After having time to sleep on it I came to a realization. Bruce works for Imeo. Without Imeo, CoV would not be the success that they are today. Imeo knows that we are angry. I am more than certain that he will handle it and that we should just put our trust in him. Just think about how many vendors he has already "kicked to the curb". I'm not saying that he should or shouldn't do that with CoV. Just that we should let Imeo handle the situation and trust in and support whatever decision he makes.

Trust in Imeo!

I am very glad that you like Ithaka John my friend:)
Adjustable brass pin is made like this in purpose and I tried hard for that. Imagine an adjustable pin that was not moving while you were screwing Ithaka on a mod. The result would be that Ithaka would never stay flush to the mod. Then you would have to unscew Ithaka again and adjust the pin. And again the same, and again.
First I would like to give my support to all ithaka buyers in COV. I think Bruce is seriously wrong. You may to have more respect for people who have a lot of money in advance for your ithaka preseller.

And now my first Impressions over the atty. I have it for a couple of days and I must say it is excellent. His appearance, small size relative to his big autonomy, his throat blow, and clouds of steam that is capable of producing. They filled my wildest expectations. In my opinion, is the best atty fiber of the moment.

Although I must say that I find fail. The adjustable positive has a thread too soft, and sometimes when connected to this mod, gets inwards causing a bad connection. I think this would be solved easily making this thread was a bit tougher.

P. D Sorry for the english.. Google tranlator job, you know. Lol

Cheers

Take off the lid from GGTS and also take off the adjustable 510 base from Ithaka tar. Then screw Ithaka on GGTS:)

I dont understand :-(

no need for that buddy. You keep brass small pin on Ithaka. And no need to adjust pin of GGTS, it will be adjusted automatically:)
I think u need to take the top of the GGTS off, then the bottom of the Ithaka including the brass extension piece. The adjustable airflow on the GGTS will be the only one needed. You will need to adjust the GGTS connector pin to meet the Ithaka centre pin.

We dont need to totally close the air tar, its useless. Air can be closed until we cant really vape. Then we can start opening it until we find the right vape for us
so you use GGTS air control.
I tried it but In this case If I close all air, the air pass .. Air is not completely closed.

Whit original Ithaka air control on provari if I close Air it is closed.

Whit this configuration, the same of your, if I close air it pass

That what I was doing unscrewing and screwing, did not know that it might turn by itself.

I just read all of your concerns about COV guys and girls. I havent speak with Bruce about all this but I think that his thoughts maybe were like this:

"I have to go to vapefest. I mustnt miss it because all ventors will be there. Also I have to bring Ithaka with me because its my biggest weapon. But I have to send the preorders too because my people are waiting for them. So I choose to go to vapefest because vapefest cant delay when preorders can be delayed. I will inform my customers about this and I am sure they will understand the situation".

Bruce maybe didnt want to make a noise about all this, so he removed the last premise from his mind. He tried to not make trouble while he made a big one.

I am sure that his concern was not to sell 20 Ithakas when he has sold much more. His concern was that he had to go to vapefest because he had to be there.

I didnt know that he had to go to a vapefest but if I knew that I would agree that he had to go because its his business to go there. But he had to inform you about the situation. He didnt do it because he wanted to avoid trouble. He cares about his customers but he made a bad choise by not informing you.

Thats my thoughts only but I think that I am right on those. I am sure that he didnt have bad intensions, he didnt want to fool anyone, he was trying to do his best on both levels. (vapefest and customers together)

I am not trying to excuse Bruce but I dont think that his thoughts could be different. He loves his customers, he knows that they support him and his family, and he was trying to satisfy both situations.

Thank you Imio for your thoughts about the situation, but I think that we all know that it's not possible to sit on two stools at the same time. Bruce tried that and I think it will hurt his business in the long run. I personally think that what he did would be fine if he would post an explanation BEFORE he brought Ithaka to the Vapefast, and people would understand. Instead he ignored one rule of any business his loyal customers who prepaid months before the product in order to be guaranteed delivery as soon as it was available. COV responded afterwards with a very condescending explanation almost talking down to the people. Well CoV may think that they offended only a few people. However I think they offended the majority of their loyal customer base. It will be posted on many sites that Bruce should not be trusted, and I think he let it go too far to justify it in the end with a simple "I'm sorry" statement. He might be a nice guy but his business practice is just plain awful.
On the upside. Thank you Imeo for your innovations. I love your products and will always be interested in your owning pieces of your ingenuity. I just will buy them now from a different vendor.

Just for fun, since Im sure this wont be officially cleared up for days, does anyone have a devils advocate argument for this. Im a reasonable man, I really am, but I cant figure out this one at all.

if this is all true it would be very disappointing. especially if they are being sold for less than the price on the web.

as devils advocate, its his business and he gets to do what he likes. sorry i know this wont be a popular comment.

having said that it is bruces prerogative to run his business the way he choses but the gg crowd is a very loyal and trust based community.(we pay in advance for something sight unseen based on previous performance of the maker, imeo.)

if that trust is violated or even perceived as being violated the financial fallout will be ...well..large and the preorder system will be weakened. very sad:(

i hope this resolves equitably for everyone, i have had nothing but a very positive experience with COV, Imeo, gg products and the GG community.

i really hope this is just a misunderstanding.
